Club Physio or lack of one.

Are there any rules relating to a football club operating without a qualified First Aider or Club Physio at a match?

I think it's a very fair question. Those first few moments following a serious injury or unexpected medical emergency are crucial. If a club is operating without a named individual with the minimum qualification, then they are potentially neglecting the welfare of their players. It happened to a colleague delivering an FA Level 1 course, so it could certainly happen in a more competitive environment.

in the present climate that we live in,most clubs have at least one individual who has the basic first aid skills.be it through football or work

If one team is without a first-aider they usually ask the other team if they can borrow theirs

Does the match just continue around him?

I would imagine the lack of a physio would affect their insurance for their players.

Yes, I do follow Saltash United. Falmouth did not have a Physio on Saturday or the Charity Cup Final at Callington.
