Harris Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Some very interesting fixtures tomorrow in the Prem! The leagues strong!!!!!!
sprayer Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Are you still playing for parkway harris?? Heard you was going sticker
Harris Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Parkway through and through mate! Need silver wear with them ;)
sprayer Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Can't see you getting silver ware with parkway, they always fad away, almost like they have no bottle come the end
sprayer Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Stating what has happened in previous seasons
Harris Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 i agree with your comments about last season for sure..... march period of football just went to bits meaning our season was over by the end of March!!! horrible feeling seeming we were 12 games un beaten maybe a few more.... but this season will be different
sprayer Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 Time will tell, good luck Harris you will need it
sprayer Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Think your seriously lacking at left back position. The right back looks out of shape and the Goalkeeper looks very dodgy indeed this year. Think your side are relying heavily on Worthy and Lewis Young to score your goals, without those two players, you are an average team. Fitness also seems to be lacking in recent games too. If Wayne Hilson dictates and takes both Lewis and Worthy, you will finish mid-table, and you will walk away and join Sticker.
Lewis Young 7 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 I've already spoke to Wayne about my allegiances with John this year. Which is the main reason I returned in the first place. Was injured watching today. 1-1 away at Lanreath.

Was injured watching today. 1-1 away at Lanreath. Awful result then for you and the boys Lewis. Who scored your goal? seriously dont think Parkway will win the league this year, and players like you, Andy, Pete Foster and Dan Worth will find this frustrating. Surely you personally should take the opportunity to play for Wayne? you were brilliant against Saltash, and scored two fantastic goals, why be content to play reserve team football when your easilly good enough to step up?
Andy Wright Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 St Stephens Borough 1 St Blazey 0 Scorer: Steve Carew.
Lewis Young 7 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Worthy got the goal. Just wanna play with my friends and enjoy my football. It's been a long time since I've done so!
THE LYNX AFFECT Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 correction on the score between wadebridge v st. dominick it was 3-2 to st. dominick and not 3-1
Bullet Tooth Tony Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Is that a dig at Torpoint youngy??
Lewis Young 7 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 None whatsoever, behave yourself and stop trying to light fires. I have been back and forth to University for 3 years and it just got in the way of my footy!
Bullet Tooth Tony Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Everyone knows that you and Stevo dont get on great, so I was just asking. Good luck now you've gone
r2000 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 A big pat on the back to Ryan Swiggs, manager at Millbrook, he with his backroom staff are doing a fantastic job in their newly promoted East Cornwall Premier League season , a football club who have been hit with hard times in recent years, a club who in previous years have produced teams that have played in the top tier in Cornish football. Here is a football man who i believe with his determination and hard work along side Roger Wakeham will bring back the feel good factor to this Cornish club and hopefully lure local sponsers to invest again into what is a great club. Well done Millbrook.
Big Dog Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Bodmin 4-0 Callington Scorers: Ash White Brett Charlick 2 Rikki Allen Callington poor today but take nothing away from a dominant Bodmin outfit, solid at the back and possession was a good 70/30 to Bodmin, a win was comin and in emphatic fashion it came, nick dole was stand out man by far
Keep me nut down Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 How come Rikki Allen is playing for Bodmin 2nd team? To good for them
jayjay21 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Morwenstow 1 v 3 probus Was a very tight game the score line don't reflect how close the game was . Probus play good football . The one thing that ruined this game was the idiot in the middle . Don't get me wrong he was awful for both teams . I feel for any team that gets the Greek man
jayjay21 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 On a sour note morwenstow manager Alan Hockin has decided to call time on his reign . Everyone at morwenstow wishes Alan Hockin the best great man great manager .
CoachKT Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 On a sour note morwenstow manager Alan Hockin has decided to call time on his reign . Everyone at morwenstow wishes Alan Hockin the best great man great manager . He may not be the only one....Decent bloke Alan, all the best to him in whatever he does next.

Big Dog Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Coming back from injury and as I understand it helping Pete out

jayjay21 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Hi Kev thanks for comment . He will be missed . Hope your not thinking the same mate ??
Nandos7 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Who does like Stevo though Everyone at Torpoint loves Stevo top manager and a top bloke and was one of the best players I've seen in local football and I'm sure he'll turn it around at the mill this season
jackkay95 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Anyone know why the Biscovey and Edgcumbe game was postponed?
Willser ! Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Edgecumbe unable to use their pitch due to HMS Raleigh summer leave.
swiggsy Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Thanks for the comments r2000. The club is currently progressing in the right direction both on and off the field. Hopefully in time(and if we can continue to progress) the club can return to competing at the level it once did! Cheers Swiggsy
Ponsonby Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 Former South Western League Champions. Nice to see Millbrook on the upgrade.
THE LYNX AFFECT Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 i refereed them last week. good side will do well this season
Kilk Posted September 3, 2012 Report Posted September 3, 2012 Kilkhampton 1 Plymstock 0 A game of two halves this one. We outplayed Plymstock in the first half stringing together some great moves and eventually capitalising on this dominance through lloyd Scaife. 2nd half was a complete turnaround though with us not managing to string anything together. Luckily we defended very well and our sub-sub keeper ( promoted from right back due to injuries) had virtually nothing to do. Still, another win, hopefully we can keep this momentum going throughout the season!
blueheart Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Probus - only a good side due to their tall midfielder. He was their best player when we played them. However when we started winning all they wanted to do was kick us.... Maybe due to the fact that majority of the players weren't good enough at the beginning of the season. They may get better, but only if their midfielder stays.
davegrose Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 St Stephens Borough 1 St Blazey 0 Scorer: Steve Carew. oh dear
saturday nite fever Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Kilk looks like you boys are a strong outfit this season, Top 2 finish could be on the cards, what are your thoughts of the leauge so far?
Ponsonby Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 I'd also like to ask Kilk is having an atrocious home pitch an advantage or disadvantage?
Sinky Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 I'd also like to ask Kilk is having an atrocious home pitch an advantage or disadvantage? Harsh! Pitch isn't the greatest trur but no where near the worst. They play some good football when other teams can't. Thats nothing to do with the pitch but your own players. It's the same for both sides and good players can play anywhere which Kilk prove week in week out.
MattP Posted September 4, 2012 Report Posted September 4, 2012 Certainly far from atrocious. The strides Kilk have made both on and off the pitch in the last 12-18 months are more than some ECPL clubs have made in 10 years.
dhecfc Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 What a stupid question that is,and thanks for answering it sinky.everyone would love to have a perfect flat pitch, and unless you've got money,or a 1st team that plays in higher standard your going to struggle.a few seasons ago we didn't have any changing rooms and could barely get a team,so were happy to hopefully compete for the top 2 the season.ponsonby you seem like a bad loser to me!!
Ponsonby Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 I thought that it was perfectly fair question and judging from the responses it seems to be an advantage to the home team as they are used to it which is fair enough also. Great changing rooms though, very posh. Pressure's on now though talking about a top 2 finish this early on. Good luck with that.
dhecfc Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 It is always going to be advantage to the home team, whether the pitch is flat and perfect or atrocious as you say ours is!I only said hopefully we can compete for a top 2 finish and not we would be up there,as this is surely every teams goal at the start of the season?there are some good teams in this league,as you can tell by how well liskeard and millbrook are doing in the premier.
Kilk Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 Kilk looks like you boys are a strong outfit this season, Top 2 finish could be on the cards, what are your thoughts of the leauge so far? I'd also like to ask Kilk is having an atrocious home pitch an advantage or disadvantage? Even though I don't actually represent Kilk just play occasionally, my thoughts on the league so far is that there are maybe 4 or 5 decent teams that will be up at the top challenging this year. With Millbrook and Liskeard going up last year and two slightly weaker teams coming down, there is a great chance for a few clubs to have a real go at gaining promotion. If we can keep everyone fit (which might be hard on our "atrocious home pitch") we can definitely have a real push for promotion this year. I think Ponsonby's comment that our playing surface up at Kilk is "atrocious" is utter tosh. Sure we may not have the best playing surface in the league but we certainly don't have the worst, and like dhecfc says there is always going to be an advantage for the home team whatever pitch you play on. We have made unbelievable strides in every facet of our club over the past few years and those kind of derogatory comments would offend alot of people that have put an unbelieavble amount of time and dedication into improving everything on and off the pitch at Kilkhampton over the past few years.
Ponsonby Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 A replica of it wouldn't make for a great match of Subbuteo.
davegrose Posted September 5, 2012 Report Posted September 5, 2012 wheres ur home ground ponsonby?old trafford lol
