Tempo
They do play at Dracaena but I went down there this evening because I thought the game was on and it seemed easily playable.
Guest smashing pumpkin
I think the desicion would be down to the council. But being the start of the season and having the amount of games that pitch gets through the season, 2 games a weekend plus the locals who come down off old hill to play on it . you dont want to cut it up this early. Fair point, but as the above said it is going to get cut up anyway, the weather is going to get far worse than this!
Guest smashing pumpkin
well there is a differance isnt there from playing on it when its boggy to playing when its dryed out a bit. anyway its got nothing to with me i was just merly stating having played for albion for a few seasons a few years ago. the drainage on that pitch has never been the best anyway
Deano11
Smashing Pumpkin is correct. The big problem you have now is it is council owned and the guys down there have a preference to Athletic DC so if there is a risk that Albion would cut the pitch up, then they will call the game This is what has happened this week
