Will agree with that Nigel. St Day were the better side for most of the game, will probably feel hard done by only taking a point. Definitely a point gained from a WC point of view. Massive improvement needed for Saturday. Well played to St Day, will cause sides some problems this year. Thanks for the turnout at the pub on a schoolnight! Also, superbly reffed once again! Top stuff.

Trelawny League Div. 1

Praze 1 .v. Pool Utd 2

First game of our season and delighted to grab all 3 points. Quite a tight game throughout, we probably edged it on chances created but found ourselves guilty of shooting off target. After the opening exchanges had settled down, Rob Penfold capped what ended up being a high energy performance after cutting inside on his left foot and firing into the net. Praze went on to have a large amount of play in our half and secured a number of corners. From one of these the ball was bundled into the net but the ref called play back for a foul on our 'keeper. With the wind to their advantage, a long ball eluded our offside trap and found Prazes' big number 9 bearing down 1 on 1 with our 'keeper Leigh Isaacs. Leigh spread himself at the edge of the box but the ball went through him and Praze equalised with their lad slotting into an open net. Second half got fairly bogged down in the middle of the park and lacked some of the quality of the first half. As the game wore on it was becoming increasingly obvious that 1 more goal would probably settle it. Man of the match for us Andrew ' Mushy' Symons collected the ball from Barry Penfold and drove into the home penalty area where he was challenged and a penalty awarded. Johnny Jones converted the spot kick to ensure victory.

Best of luck to Praze for the season.
