Coopsie
Excuse my ignorance but aren't there any teams from the penzance area that are in any of the sunday leagues that may be on the look out for one or more players on a sunday morning?. oldasitgets
One could always ask to be put on the waiting list for crowntown, the third farthest West club. (After Regent and Halsetown)
Coopsie
Coopsie, form a Gulval XI with players playing from both teams management don't seem too keen on the idea for some reason?. Could understand it if our last Gulval team was unsuccessful but we won everything except the sunday cup. I also think that we'd have big problems with our pitch because the cricketers already moan that we play on it, so another game each week would probably not go down too well?. Regent = new name for Penzance Astro. Didn't know that but assuming they play on the plastic pitch, well I just couldn't enjoy my football on that. oldasitgets
Regent play on the grass area - sometimes referred to as a pitch, behind the fire station. Penzance Astro never played on the astro either. I think they were trying to spell ass hole and got it wrong. Regent have their first game against the legendary Crowntown 2nd Sept. Coopsie
That pitch behind the firestation is a joke.I guess I'll have to see who plays for Regent and see if they are on the lookout for young, exciting, freescoring players. :D
