cornishteddyboy Posted August 14, 2012 Author Report Posted August 14, 2012 Supporter. Don't like the word fan. I spend my money watching and travelling with the teams, plus I run activities such as race nights and quizzes so I am a supporter not a fan. I'm part of the inner sanctum (Committee), publish and print the reserve team programme, the reserves' sole supporter and have a broad shoulders for any other Pz supporter to cry on. I am resigned to the fact that most weeks until we have a settled side we will be hammered. Results to start turning around just before Christmas but by then it might be too late to save us from the drop. I also believe my club and every other for the next 3-4 years should think of their clubs to keep their heads above water and not brown envelope the players just for one season's glory that is soon forgotten.
Cloughie Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 Didn't Penzance splash the cash, when Trevor Mewton was in charge ?
isaac rosenberg Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Do you still have to do reinstatements when the Trelawney League starts ?
green & white Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 think u will find all the players from pz combo team last season will be done on block...if any are still at club, so not sure what will happen then!
isaac rosenberg Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 surely there are limits as to how many can turn out at once....in the old Mining Division it was three. Given 0-20 gd after two games, they would have had more sense to play their firsts in the Trelawney.
Martin Eddy Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 because they were relegated they automatically become junior players if they stay with penzance
