pre season friendlys this week

Lc pheonix vs calstock 2nds on saturday 2.30 first game of the new season. Should be a good game. Both sides play attractive passing football and the last few games between them have been cracking.

I agree. We (at Phoenix) know games against Calstock are always decent affairs with the outcome far from certain for either side. It should be a great opener to the season..

Not sure- the middle pitch can dry to a playable level if given some hours of dry, warm weather. Apparently Saturday will be overcast but dry and warm so it's a possibility but this is Cornwall and the weather changes so quickly. What state is your pitch in?

The village holds a motorbike festival on it so its shagged. They had marques and a make shift campsite on it aswell as vehicles. All home games until sept were already cancelled. But it doesnt look good.

If the weather continues like this, a lot of clubs are going to be in this situation. Hope for an indian summer.
