wally6 Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 Lc pheonix vs calstock 2nds on saturday 2.30 first game of the new season. Should be a good game. Both sides play attractive passing football and the last few games between them have been cracking.

We (at Phoenix) know games against Calstock are always decent affairs with the outcome far from certain for either side. It should be a great opener to the season..

phoenix Posted August 17, 2012 Report Posted August 17, 2012 Not sure- the middle pitch can dry to a playable level if given some hours of dry, warm weather. Apparently Saturday will be overcast but dry and warm so it's a possibility but this is Cornwall and the weather changes so quickly. What state is your pitch in?

The village holds a motorbike festival on it so its shagged. They had marques and a make shift campsite on it aswell as vehicles. All home games until sept were already cancelled. But it doesnt look good.
