And how are the teams complying at counting the paying public. I think the league had to do their own head count at Saltash. The attendance at Torpoint seemed to be nearer a hundred than 80. Torpoint Imp Posted August 14, 2007 Report Share Posted August 14, 2007 I think its a learning curve for hard worked volunteer gate staff. I know our gate lady was getting overly concerned at the matter. I agree there were a lot more than 80 there on Sat, but as we don't charge players/youth players & volunteers then that may have been the paying supporters. My own opinion - its not difficult to produce an accurate figure - just need to get over the "but we've always done it this way" attitude. And I dont mean that disrespectfully.
