afreshstart
Another big test for gunnislake in their pre season build up as they entertain east cornwall side edgecumbe at st anns chapel. Looking to build from saturdays positive result and see how they fair against higher league opposition.
MEX
Afternoon Joe, With this great weather whats wrong with the Gunni pitch? Hopefully see you at some stage. I'll have a chat whilst your running the line!! LOL
afreshstart
It was still soft in a couple of patchs due to the weather. Needs a cut, lines painting and road closure near the pitch. Otherwise it's all good. I'll be trying to marshall the defence
afreshstart
Gunnislake 3 - 5 edgecumbe. Entertaining game of football which both sides dominated at different stages. Edgecumbe started brightly and opened the scoring this only ignited gunni who replied with 3 goals and should have had a penalty but unfortunately it wasn't given. Edgecumbe pulled one back just before half time. In the second half edgecumbe grew stronger and stronger. Gunnislake didn't give up but 3 goals were unanswered in this period. Liam thornton and lewis kershaw both played for edgecumbe and showed their class. Not sure who the lad bond is in centre mid but looks a handful. Many thanks to edgecumbe for a good game. The futures a bright at gunnislake!
