Sheldon Mitchell 5 a-side tournament at St Day-5th August - MEN & WOMEN

St Day hosts their annual 5 a-side competition in honour of Sheldon Mitchell and hopefully another cracking competition is in store.

This year it has been set to be held on the Sunday 5th August at Vogue Park in St Day.

This year’s competition will see leagues for both men & women. We will look to accommodate 20 male teams & 10 Female teams across 4 pitches.

Teams must be entered and registered by 10am for the draw and like most competitions there will be group stages ( 4 Male Leagues & 2 Female Leagues) followed by knockout stages. We will be commencing games at 10:30am.

Refreshments and food will be available at the ground and can we ask all players to wear either trainers or moulded boots unless the weather is wet and therefore normal studs may be worn.

Entry is £15 per team and should be either a cheque sent to a Mr. Adrian Walters (Ashcroft, 80 Mount Ambrose, Redruth, TR15 1QR) payable to St Day AFC or email me with your teams details.

Kindest Regards

Mark

Padstow B won the trophy, would have been nice for an all Padstow final but it was not to be!

A great day out as far as our lads were concerned.

Not sure how many will turn up for training Tues night; hell of a long day!

A BIG thank you to those who arranged the day, all those who took part, the officials and the guys who manned the food tent!

Looking forward to defending the trophy next year.
