Phoenix stroke appeal charity football tournament

Recommended Posts

Are there any officials or club linesman that are free on Sunday afternoon please?? We have got a charity football tournament in aid of the Phoenix stroke appeal at Truro City Afc from 3pm - 6pm and are a linesperson short at the moment. Obviously no money involved because everything is going into the pot for charity but we can promise a nice trophy, a Rowe's pasty and a drink and usually a good laugh with nothing too serious if you wave your flag!? If anyone is available and fancies a run out on the hallowed Treyew Road turf can you let me know on the forum or give me a shout on 07795513033. Much appreciated, everyone welcome if you don't fancy Newcastle v City and Utd v Swansea!!! ?

Decent days football with three evenly matched teams but more importantly £505 raised for the stroke appeal. Massive thanks to Webby and Truro city for the use of their excellent facilities once again. Three games of 25 minutes each way resulted in a final table with the outcome in doubt up to the last minute of the last game. Thanks to everyone who attended, much appreciated
