Mawnan res v redruth utd 3-1 (0-0ht)

Mawnan goals:

Andrew Julien (pen)

Chris Wood

Greg Weal

Not sure of redruth goal scorer sorry. Good game. Have to comment on the condition of wendrons top pitch. It was in good condition and played well. Boxing day it was a mud bath!

Good luck to redruth for the rest of the season.

Wendron dispatch of Goonhavern 5-1 meaning they win the league. Scoreline is generous as Goonhavern played with great determination. League title fully deserved..we've shown great passion and commitment, not to mention quality of football. Congrats to everyone else for a great season, been emotional however when its comes to marathons Wendron have shown they can go the distance. VIVA LA DRON.

Div. 5

Newlyn NA Res 2 - Hayle 23rds 4

Hayle won. Cracking bunch of lads. How to play total football with a smile on your face. Good luck for next season. Shame we may be in a different division next year, we'll miss the fun and frivolity.

Excellent for result for Hayle coming from behind and bouncing back from a semi final defeat 24 hours earlier.

Well done to Helston for getting to the PSC final. Given the pitch was mashed up, Praze played some of their best football but unfortunetely could not get the end product. Thanks to Wendron for hosting the semi and for not calling it off (as their pitch is now a little worse for wear); didn't enjoy those cold showers though!

Got to agree with you - Praze played very well in the first half and all credit to them but as you say did not make enough of the pressure. Fortunately the wonder goal for the equaliser gave us more than we deserved at half time and in the second half we turned up and made our pressure count. Three good games with you this season and the scores dont really reflect how close they all were. Great bunch of lads. Cold showers? Sure it was not the rain coming thru a hole in the roof???
