Porthleven Reserves showed today a mean streak throughout the 90 minutes and gave no quarter to a Robartes side that battled gamely, but were completely outclassed from the first whistle. It was a good workout and with the Port management making continuous team changes throughout the match, it was also good for them to see various permutations of the players and their attitude to those changes.

Thanks to Robartes for the game and we wish them well for the coming season ahead. As for Port they face a Goonhavern side at Gala Parc K.O 7.00pm this Wednesday. A sterner test awaits them for sure !!

Good game, shame we had a wedding on same afternoon to rob us of six starters but we managed to put a side out, and even i had to play. Very impressed with Port, great football and it showed how much hard work they have put in pre-season. im sure they will push for title. Good luck for the season ahead and look forward to a return fixture at our nxt year.
