THE BALD ONE
Launceston 1 - Plymouth Parkway 3 ( half time = 0 - 2 ). This was a great hardworking team performance from Parkway today. Goals from Lionel Doley and 2 for Stringer ( I must say the second from Strings was brilliant - dodgy celebration Strings ) . After the last 2 performances I would have taken a draw today , but what do I know ........lol. Difficult to pick a man of the match as the whole team performed well today .Lots of energy up front and control in the middle. The back 4 looked solid and I was surprised that we conceded. The young lad Hilson was outstanding . Great game to watch today lads , next stop Bodmin. Well done boys and cmon Parkway.
bushy12
Almost asked for a refund after St.Austells performance today, but 3 points nevertheless! Horrible cross winds, and a 'decent' Collumpton side who's league position doesn't quite do them justice. Not well done... but, well done Lilywhites! The Villains
Sliced bread, what is the Blazey score then ? St Blazey 2 - 0 Ivybridge Town report to follow Here goes, have just been thinking how to write the report without it sounding like sour grapes about the score line. The score line reflects how poor the referee decisions were today, both teams at times wondering if the the ref really knew what he was doing, unfortunatley the big ones that he got wrong went against Ivybridge. The first half was pretty even with neither team taking charge of the game. The first big decision that the ref had to make was the disallowed goal for Ivybridge, for a foul on the keeper. A high ball was played into the area where 3 players went for the ball (the wind held the ball up), the keeper then also came out and tried to collect the ball over the 3 players, but he spilled the ball, which ended up in the goal. Where the ref got a foul from, only he knows that. St Blazey then had a a great chance to take the lead, a shot from some 25 yards out, which was saved by a great full length finger tipped save over the bar. HT 0 - 0 St Blazey then took the lead some 9 mins into the second half, again not without some questions being asked of the assistant ref on the dugout side, as to if, the ball went out of play on the far side of the goal line before the ball was crossed over. The Ivybridge keeper ran a full 60 yards to confront and plead with the assistant ref stating the ball had gone out of play. My own postion was by the dugout, so I couldnt say one way or a other. The second major decision the ref got wrong was in the disallowing of Ivybridges second goal. This time for a foul on the center half. The Ivybridge striker clearly and cleanly out jumper the center half flicking the ball on to his strike partner who put the ball into the net. NO one in the ground (including St Blasey fans in the bar afterwards) could understand why the ref had given a foul. He indicated a foul to the ankle!! The challenge was in the air, not on the ground. Even the center half did not appeal for a foul. St Blazey second goal was scored after a free kick had been awarded (no complaints about free kick), other than it being taken 20 yards from where the foul had taken place. Ivybridge defenders switched off and the ball was in the back of the onion bag. FT 2 - 0 Overall, not a great game to watch, strong wind, poor decisions that cost Ivybridge at least a point. Crowd 70 ish Good luck for whats left of the season

ere we go
Launceston 1 v Parkway 3 Parkway started brightly and deserved their 2-0 lead at half time. Lee Doel taking his chance well and the 2nd a Will Stringer pen. The 2nd half was a slightly different story. Some changes at half time in personel and formation saw Launceston more of a threat and they took the game to Parkway. Once more it looked like the mean Parkway defence would not concede but midawy through the second half Launceston made a breakthrough. The game now went from end to end and it was Parkway who struck next and what a classy chip from Will Stringer. Another fine team performance. TimmyRaa
Bovey 0 Saltash 3 Not a classic by any means. Wasn't helped by a card happy ref, who dealt out 9 yellows and one red card to Bovey players, some warranted, some not!!. Ashes goals were Ross Saint (pen), Marc Thorne, and a beauty from Aaron Cusack. I have to say we look a much better side with Gav Coulton as a centre back!
