Guest BenTheYeti Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 APC Constantine Reserves 1 - 1 Halsetown Reserves (a.e.t Constantine won 4-2 on pens) Good even game of football on a stodgy pitch, Constantine took the lead through a quick steal of possession and a good finish. Halsetown got level in the second half with a flowing counter attack finished off at the second attempt. From there I think all 22 players on the pitch knew it'd go to pens after it's taken 4 months to get this game done! Constantine better team in extra time as Halsetown started to tire, but a great effort by our lads, especially as we only had 9 fit and available this time yesterday. Good luck in the next round to the Constantine lads PSC West Cornwall 2 - 3 Halsetown (a.e.t)

Tempo Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Division 5 Frogpool reserves 2 2 praze an beeble Praze went one nil up when a huge throw caused trouble in the box and was turned in at the back post. Praze doubled their lead when a long throw was patted in by the unfortunate Frogpool keeper. The second half started and Frogpool responded well when top scorer Jason dyer finished past the impressive praze referee. An equaliser was turned in by substitute Jordan jermyn after a scramble in the praze box. Game ended 2 2 and could have gone either way. Good afternoon of football well officiated by a young referee. Hard to call a man of the match as both teams did well. In division 3 I heard Frogpool beat wendron 2 1 at wendron which is a great result.
patch Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Jason dyer finished well past the impressive praze referee did he?
Mama Sidibe Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Dunn Cup Goonhavern 4-0 Threemilestone (0-0 h/t) Sam Waters, Lewis Waters, Sam Mansfield and Ben Goldring with the goals. Mawnan await in the semi final.
Deadcert Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 watched Mawnan v Mousehole to-day thought Mawnan looked good well worthy of their emphatic win
patch Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Which one of the sellout crowd were you mr deadcert?
Mama Sidibe Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Dunn Cup Goonhavern 4-0 Threemilestone (0-0 h/t) Sam Waters, Lewis Waters, Sam Mansfield and Ben Goldring with the goals. Mawnan await in the semi final. Also huge credit has to go to the groundsmen; the pitch was in top condition today which is surprising given the condition of it after our game last Saturday. :clapper:
p jeffery Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 im not sure deadcert was at the mawnan game,as he seems to be everywhere but nobody knows his real name
MJP Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 P Jeffrey why does the fact that no one knows Deadcerts name, mean that he could not have been at the Mawnan game?
Smudge17 Posted February 11, 2012 Report Posted February 11, 2012 Percy stephens cup Chacewater 5 Lanner 3 An excellent game with Lanner going 1 up through a penalty mid way through the 1st half and in control of the game but a mistake from a corner let Chacewater back into the game and they took advantage by scoring a 2nd within 5 minutes. 2-1 at half time. Chacewater began the 2nd half well and were awarded a penalty after 5 minutes of the half when the defender handballed the ball and was duly sent off which left us with a struggle to play for 40 minutes with 10 men against a team 2 leagues above us. Our heads never dropped and we brought the score back to 3-2 but a soft goal from a rebound made the score 4-2 but we didn't give up and straight away made it 4-3 only for chacewater to score a lucky goal direct from a corner to make the game safe but we still had a chance after to make the game closer. A very good game in which the result could have gone either way. Good luck to Chacewater for the rest of the season. Lanner Goalscorers L. Goldstone 1 S. Stephens 2

Guest smashing pumpkin Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 although 5 nil is a big score line margin, i think the game was closer than the score line suggests. hayle played well and with there combo and 3rd team not having a game they DIDNT drop any players down to bulster there team so fair play to them. they played there right back in goal who had a good game making some great saves. all of hayle goals were very good finishes. half time 3-0 fulltime 5-0
Gunner81 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Div 1 Redruth Utd 1 Constantine 1 A well contested game by 2 good footballing sides, the state of the pitch did ruin a bit of the quality. Redruth had the better of the 1st half but were unable to capatalise and went in at half time 0-0. In the 2nd half redruth started brightly and got there rewards with a goal. As soon as redruth took the lead they sat back a little too much and invited constantine on to them. Constantine then were the better side until the end of the game trying to break redruth down, they got the equaliser in the last 10 minutes. Probably a fair result overall. calcox1 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 div 4 st day 3rds 4, madron 0 3 pts and move on, not our best performance but with some key players missing our shape was in disarray, but on the plus side some encouraging performances, jacob cleverly, will harvey and connor trevena all had good games. 3 1st half goals and a solitary pen in the 2nd was all we had to show for what can only be descrided as about 20 chances. madron are only a couple of players short from being a side that will start picking up points, the keeper was there mom, but the the 2 center halves also had great games. goals, richy whitlock 2 justin james will harvey (pen)
redrum123 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 St Buryan 0 Goonhavern res 2 This was a game that was well fought by 2 even teams, then we made the break and scored with a great strike from diddy on the right, at half time it was 0_1, second half Buryan came at us and we soaked up the pressure, then we started to turn the tide and gave the pressure back which lead to a mistake from their keeper and gifted us a goal!,Good luck for rest of season.
Damo No 2 Posted February 12, 2012 Report Posted February 12, 2012 Trelawny League Div. 1 Perranwell Res 4 .v. Portreath 0 Home side good for their win, some clinical 1st half goals. Portreath with a much changed starting line up but hopefully we can build on our fully committed second half performance.

duracell Posted February 15, 2012 Report Posted February 15, 2012 trelawney 6 redruth ath 4 - 3 troon 3rds a good game played on a not so good condition pitch lol troon never got going for the first 70 mins and were rightly 4 nil down before we started playing our fisth goal coming from the penalty converted by rob oldland our second came from nathan watling when the keeper a tame shot creep in beneath him third came from a well struck free kick from about 35 yards by matt sara with more or less the last kick of the game we had a goal ruled offside which was a little dubious shame we left it so late 2 start playing as if we had another 5 minutes we could of got something out of it. another good preformance from us in the end. good luck for the rest of the season troon scorers rob oldland nathan watling matt sara redruth ath scores ?
