A deserved win for Camborne Park in a typically feisty game between us. Bad time to suffer your worst performance of the season, losing our undefeated record against what are probably our main challengers for the league. First half was pretty much 50/50 with neither side really doing enough to warrant a goal. Unfortunately Park got their game together after the break and we just got worse, losing possession far too easily and getting ourselves into trouble regularly. The front two for Camborne were a real handful today and they defended en masse very well once ahead. We've shown we can play much better than this and will hopefully find that form again pretty darn soon! All in all a bad day at the office and I really shouldn't let myself get so wound up on the pitch anymore!

Bit of a shame no-one from Camborne stayed for food and a drink - we always do at yours. Fair enough I forgot to mention it but the bar is right between the 2 changing rooms. Might've wanted to get that teamsheet signed too...

Hi pal, fair review of the game

Apologies for not staying after the game, only had 3 drivers yesterday and 2 of them had to get back to Camborne so had to take the other players.

A good game for park in what was, for me, the most important game of our season. A feisty game which you'd expect from 1st and 2nd league contenders.

Goal scorer for CPFC was Jason Fenton with a diving header and a volley over the keeper from 35 yards
