Cornish Chough Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Wouldnt think many game on tomoz, pitch in st columb minor where u never have many games cancelled , maybe 2 in the last 4 years. At 2pm today pitch is like concrete and the sun has been on it all day, and more frost for tonight to come
Premier Sixes Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 I was at Minor's pitch at 4.10pm and it was still frozen. Pitch inspection at 11am but it doesn't look promising for the P6 vs Maker game.
skyblueref Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 clijah pitches were all not playable at 3pm this afternoon when i had a quick look.
RAPPO Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Yeah thought Trelander would be off, had a stroll with the daughter down Malpas Park this afternoon after work for abit of -5 fresh air, and it was harder than the road we parked on!!! A duck flew in and landed and it skidded about 10 yards across the penalty box on the ice!!! Arsene Wenger was there as well but he said he didn't see it!!! Can see more games being off than on tomorrow to be honest, safety of the players and all that, that the refs have to abide by. Hope the clubs call it early and don't let opposing teams travel in the hope of a thaw because it wont by 2pm if park was anything to go by!! :(
Nelly Furtado Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Pitch inspection 10am tomorrow for the Stithians v Helston Junior Cup 1/4 final

Guest BenTheYeti Posted February 3, 2012 Report Posted February 3, 2012 Halsetown vs Constantine subject to pitch inspection.. was up there on Thursday morning and it looked like Lapland FC.. been a lot warmer today and cloud cover tonight so hoping for the best.. gonna get up there as early as feasible as it's a bloody long way for the Constantine lads to travel to St Ives.. and the reserves are (hopefully) playing each other up in Constantine too in the first round(!!!) of the APC.. already been abandoned once in October.. could be a fixture mess coming our way soon

calcox1 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 not off, but on, old secret squirrel knows what he's talking about, he must have one big finger held in the air with countless years of experience to have predicted that, or maybe just a big computer thingy, so at st day both games on.

A manager or another club members number would be appriciated, cheers Phil Pascoe.
RAPPO Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Div 3 Frogpool v Wendron. OFF Just spoke to Nick and he,s at the pitch. He banged his foot on the centre circle and it sounded like the A30!!! Wendron away next week instead!!!
Premier Sixes Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Minor's pitch was rock solid yesterday - if we were playing anyone local we would have done a later pitch inspection, however, as we had Maker who have to travel from torpoint an inspection was done at 9am to give them sufficient notice and the pitch was still solid. Not brilliant but it looks like alot of the Newquay pitches are suffering the same. Godolphin is off as is Newlyn East.
Soccer Follower Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Trelawny Div 4 Chacewater v Redruth Utd - off - some of the pitch hasn't thawed.

Big Breakfast Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Rangers v Ruan Div 4 Off. After a second pitch inspection on 3 of our available pitch's, two ref's between them decided to call it. At the end of the day it would have been a complete mud bath the rain just ain't soaking in because its still froozen below the surface.
