Pitty Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Could someone from Newquay football club E-Mail their "probable" squad for saturdays fixture against Holmans as at the moment their is a big blank bit in the programme at the moment Otherwise I will have to publish the secret pictures of our resident impersonator of "Chunk" from the Goonies Holmans goalkeeper Ben Minns in the showers at Blaythorne last weekend to fill the space instead!!! For the good of all mankind and anyone who is a bit squeamish the Newquay squad would be much more welcome!!! :)
Nemesis Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 I will get back to you by Noon Thurs, hope that isn't too late.
Pitty Posted February 1, 2012 Author Report Posted February 1, 2012 Thanks very much. Not to late and that will spare Bens blushes.....Went to the Newquay v St Agnes game last night but alas no programme to nick the squad from :(
Nemesis Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Sorry, the club do not produce a programme for the ressies, that may change next season though. Likely NAFC Combo Squad Sam Trudgian (GK) Sam McKune (Asst Manager) Sam Hill Daniel Ball Jack Bray-Evans Andrew Morris Jacob Street Jowan Annear Jack Thompson Ben Colquhoun Joff Bunt Ashley Bradshaw © Joe Davy-Taylor Micky Burns Luke Rigby Cameron Bidgood Manager - Alan Yendall
St Darren Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 not the squad that played against St Agnes then!!
Nemesis Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 not the squad that played against St Agnes then!! I'm sure you were delighted with an excellent 2-0 win, well deserved. Westy needs more match fitness and so played against Aggie. Brook missed the previous SWPL game and so played for the Combo side, not too sure about Robbo coming on as sub. This Sat, Riggers will hopefully come through at least an hour, he has been out since October. We are fortunate at Mount Wise, our players play for the CLUB, not just the SWPL or Combo sides.
St Darren Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 nothing wrong with that, its a club and thats what it should be used for. I didn't go to watch, too cold! Did Paul Hampshire play as well??
Nemesis Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Hammy was not in the reserves squad, he was with the remainder of the SWPL squad training that night.
St Darren Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 ah, I got told the wrong story then! is he the scottish one that sits in midfield and just doesn't give the ball away?
Nemesis Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 ah, I got told the wrong story then! is he the scottish one that sits in midfield and just doesn't give the ball away? Only Scottish lad on Tues was Robbo (sub). Hammy is one of the top rated midfielders in the SWPL, I'm sure that there is not a single club who would not find a place for him in their starting XI.
St Darren Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 hmmm, not sure who I'm thinking of. There's a bald chap who plays in midfield who is absolute class, never gives the ball away. Thought he was Scottish though.
baldy Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 I think you have the right person St D. Paul Hampshire is Scottish but did not play on Tues night.
