Mark Picken Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 MPAD UTD 1 v Tremough 3 Disappointing result again for us. Felt we started brightly, but Tremough started to move the ball round well and took the lead one of their midfielders hit the ball first time on the run from 25 yards. Tremough went down to 10 men due to injury, but grabbed the second from a free kick after some slopping defending. A very soft goal to give away. We came back into the game and created several chances before half-time, but some brilliant goalkeeping from Tremough's normal left back kept us out. HT MPAD 0 Tremough 2 Thought we started the second half well and had plenty of possession. Again we created chances but poor finishing and more great keeping cost us. Tremough used their pace to hit us on the break, but we kept going and Mike Cudlipp pulled a goal back. We then should have equalised, but wasted more chances and their keeper pulled off more great saves. With a few minutes left to go and us chasing the game, Tremough grabbed their third with a well taken goal. FT MPAD 1 Tremough 3

Mark Picken Posted January 30, 2012 Author Report Posted January 30, 2012 Meant to say a big thank you to Mike Carter, who crawled out of his sick bed to ref the game. He was excellent and let the game flow.
