Rocket Ronnie Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Apparantly it was his first game in over a year and was covering for hodges who is carrying an injury! Went off injured after a heavy challlenge.
Magic Mike Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Apparantly it was his first game in over a year and was covering for hodges who is carrying an injury! Went off injured after a heavy challlenge. He told me he had retired as he had the hips of a 70 year old woman
patch Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 He's probably had hold of the hips of a 70 year old woman in his time
Magic Mike Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 He's probably had hold of the hips of a 70 year old woman in his time More than once I expect patch GILF
Aberfalman Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Apparantly it was his first game in over a year and was covering for hodges who is carrying an injury! Went off injured after a heavy challlenge. He played for Town at Bodmin in the FA Cup earliar in the season.
Michael Rabone Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Sounds like it was an interesting battle at Lafrowda! http://www.thisiscor...tail/story.html
potch Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Well that write up isnt to one sided at all. Firstly Gary Mathews didnt lunge in 2 footed and Andrew Curnow didnt do anything wrong in his so called challenge other than connect and clear the ball. However the ref didnt have the best game in the world agree with that.
Slates Posted January 21, 2012 Report Posted January 21, 2012 Sorry potch but gary matthews tackle was a shocker and I have the stud marks on my stomach to prove it.
frankie4 Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 it wasn't a 2 footed lunge though I'm not sure it matters if its two footed or not if the tackle was that high?
motherwontletmegoargyle Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 6 of the 8 quarter finalists on GWR line could = some interesting local derbies Saltash Liskeard St Austell Truro Penryn Falmouth
Mike Odgers Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Posted January 22, 2012 Finished godolphin 1-2 falmouth. Paxton sent off in last min for comments to the lino! Good game. Could anyone estimate the attendance / according to "Twitter" the crowd erupted with the "G" equaliser
threesy Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 I saw st just yesterday, Gary Matthews was harsh, yes he did wrong, but the tackle on him originally was two footed!! The second sending off was just total stupidity!!!
potch Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Cheers threesy i totally agree with you if gary didnt try to hurdle/jump over the challenge could have had a broken leg harsh on gary.
threesy Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Just read the report, think st just deserve a bit of credit for how they played yesterday, especially defensively,
Slates Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Stop justifying him stamping on me as him jumping over a two footed tackle from me because that's rubbish, it wasn't even close to being two footed. And as for the other sending off I'm not sure your aloud to kick people off the ball.

Mr Cornwall Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Fantastic result for Truro and congrats to match winner Bowker who is having a great season for City. Well done to all players (subs included) who played Saturday although I wasn't there due to work committments and 28th there is no game for Truro and its my birthday so happy days, although should be available for the next game on 4th February where we host Wadebridge Town FC. When will the Quarter-Final Draw be announced. I got a feeling Falmouth v Truro Bodmin v Saltash Liskeard v Camelford/Porthleven St Austell v Penryn Athletic
TimmyRaa Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 As a saltash fan, I'd like to draw Truro or Penryn away. I've only been to Penryn once, and from what I remember it was a lovely pitch. Don't want Falmouth cos we've played them far too much in the last few seasons
David Bray Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Quarter Final draw at the County H/Q on Thursday 6.00 pm.
threesy Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Don't think anyone is defending the second sending off slates!
