St Darren Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 Mike, going back to around 1990 maybe 1991. Falmouth played St Agnes in the Senior Cup at St Agnes. Would have been around January 6th if memory serves me right. Falmouth won 4-0 I think. Any details on that game from yourself? I understand there was a decent crowd up there watching too.
Mike Odgers Posted January 19, 2012 Author Report Posted January 19, 2012 Darren-I should be able to find that programme/newspaper report now that I have sorted all into their seasons. What I remember from that game was the entrance fee was about a quarter of what we were use to at Falmouth and there were young lassies selling raffle tickest for the St.Agnes club which easily sold well. A brilliant ploy by the "Aggies" ie Minimum receipts for the County and big profit for the club. 1989-90 St.Agnes 0 Falmouth 4 also 1990-91 Falmouth 3 St.Agnes 1 I will check out for you in due course
derek martyn Posted January 19, 2012 Report Posted January 19, 2012 In answer to your question mike from that previous Godolphin squad 5 years ago, the manager (myself) and 6 players will be in this Saturday's squad. Also 1 other player still with us but unavailable and one player now managing the second team. See u on Saturday :-)
motherwontletmegoargyle Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Re Where are they now? None of the Falmouth contingent are now with the club From last weks North Devon Journel "Joe Tickle is equally happy blocking shots for North Molton or clearing fences on the point-to-point circuit".
Brianmooreshead Posted January 20, 2012 Report Posted January 20, 2012 Tonguers probably banged up somewhere !

Sunday Independent Team of the day for defeating Torpoint in the 3rd.round
St Darren Posted January 22, 2012 Report Posted January 22, 2012 Thanks for that Mike, the date is as I remembered. Some good names from the past there, Paul Allen was a class act in centre midfield. Eudy went on to make loads more appearances for St Agnes, both for the first team and the second team, played till he was about 50 I think. Would be great to think that the four Falmouth goals were mistakes by Kimmo!!
