Cornwall Sunday Cup, Carlyon Arms 6 - Truro GWRSA 3. After 3 failed attempts the re-run of last years final went ahead with Truro offering to play away as Malpas still waterlogged. Truro took the lead only for Sandy to equalise, the away team then went 3-1 up. Sandy pulled a goal back from a corner just before half time. Again, Truro being 3-2 up was exactly how it was in last years final. However whereas in the final Sandy collapsed in this game they totally dominated the second half. The equaliser took a while coming but it was no more than they deserved. Shortly after Truro where reduced to 10 men and a penalty awarded which was converted. Over stretched and running out of steam Sandy added 2 more to book a quarter final away to Lostwithiel.
