Watched the Godolphin vs Porthleven game today, was all shaping up to be a tight and competitive game, but the referee totally ruined it, sent a player off for a suspicious looking handball after half an hour, only booked the godolphin number 10 for a two footed leg breaking challenge (even though the linesman said "he's got to go for that").

The ref then gave a penalty to Godolphin in the second half for a player falling over  none of the "g" players even appealed for it, and seemed as shocked as the Porthleven players when the ref gave it.

Overall, I have never seen that ref before, but without being harsh to the lad, he single handedly ruined that game today, so I hope he feels pleased with his day at the office. what was probably going to be a well contested affair was trashed by the referee.

idnt catch his second name

Godolphin were tidy on the ball and had two decent players in midfield and a quality striker (Phil something... Didn't catch his second name)

Porthleven were good on the break, with their best player being their number 2 who got forward well and was sound defensively.

the "g" will be there or there abouts at the end of the season, and Porthlevens performance didnt reflect their league position at present, so :clapper: to both teams, just a shame about the man in the middle

Mousehole 0 - 2 Helston. Goldsworthy and Young for Helston. Blues made to work hard for a win today, perhaps could've/ should've scored more but can't complain at 3 points and a clean sheet away from home.

Buckland Athletic beat Elbuton Villa 3-2 at home.

was it as close as the score line suggests? Elberton been going well of late.

Buckland's own match report.....

Please see link for report..... Very disappointed with no points today but lads put in another great performance.....

No mention in report about a clear penalty for Elburton half way through 1st half when our striker was taken out by last man in the box...... only for ref to give a free kick outside area and a yellow??? Referees assessor openly stating at half time that the Buckland defender should have been given red card and penalty awarded!!! Think Bucklands own report clearly shows the've used their 'get out of jail card' today!!! Happy New Year to all.

Falmouth Town 2 -1 Camelford (HT 1 - 0).

Very hard-fought game with Camelford scoring all the goals!! :clapper:

David Cann (OG) 18min-Adam Sleep (OG) 81min-Josh Insley 87min

What happened with their goal? One minute Jason Chapman had the ball, I looked away for a second and when I looked back, matey was knocking the ball into an empty net!

Happy new year to all BTW.

Let's hope they only have one 'get out of jail card' cause I feel they may need another one next weekend!

He tried to clear his lines but knocked the ball straight to their player !

Conditions didn't really help anyone yesterday, though a win is a win however it comes.

Happy New year

Currently godolphin 2-0 porthleven ht. Port down to 10 men 4 a deliberate hand ball on the line in 35th min.
do u know who was sent off?

Fred Williams was sent off for a really good clearance of the line. Referee was an embarrassment apparently!

Hopefully the 70mph winds will have helped dry out the pitches. Shouldn't imagine any games will have been called off yet, with a fairly dry forecast for the next day or 2.

Buckland - St.Austell is sure to be a good match with St.Austell defeating the champions at home and unlucky not to get a point, if not all 3 and causing an upset at Homers Heath last season!
