Haven't got a clue what you're inferring to with the above remark. Symon Winnan is no more my "mate" than any other person who posts on this forum. And again I have no feelings either way for Mr Heaney. When it comes to football I would always speak to both of them, but neither of them were on my Christmas card list.

My remark "does it really matter" was purely a throwaway comment, as at the end of the day, no one apart from a very small number of people ever actually know what money is ever involved when it comes to "paying" players. And does it matter whether the likes of Famouth, Penryn, Perranwell, St Agnes, Illogan RBL or whoever are giving away money to entice players? Good luck to them I say, more so to the players who are getting the money.
