I believe this to be the correct table with everyone's goals been deducted from the goals for and against columns. This gives a new total of 695 goals scored this season but the goal scoring charts/match score records will show 704 scored.

Holmans 1-1 hayle

Att 20

Closely contested game at blaythorne with chances for both sides. Talking point of the 1st half was the "possibility" the ball crossed the line before hitting a hayle defenders elbow and bouncing out - no goal awarded :(

Ht 0-0

Holmans took the lead on the 50th min a punt from neil Pitt found fellow 2nd teamer Jordan Jackson who beat scoffy in goal

Hayle with the wind at their back began to apply 2nd half pressure and equalised in the 75rh min

Full time 1-1

As I have said in my first posting, I believe that the table above is the correct one with everyone's goals and points taken away with the help of Alan Wallace who like me was at the meeting. The FA website table hasn't been altered nor is the table published in the Sunday paper correct.

In previous seasons points and goals have been deducted from offending clubs but the opposing clubs have not had their goals against totals reduced. This has caused some confusion as the goals for and against totals do not then tally.

Like I said I agreed with the fixtures secretary that obviously the results remain the same but importantly the recorded goals are left in the Golden Boot Award listing and on the website.

In fact two of the players who were ineligible scored in the games they played but their goals will still count on my website listings.

St Agnes 1 - 0 Mullion

For the second game on the trot we battled right to the very death to what we thought was a deserved point when a lapse in concertration was again punished and the ball found the back of the net. So many parrallels in this game to that of our 1 - 0 defeat to Penryn last week. We can take a lot of heart from both performances especially as we were without a number of 1st team regulars this week, and the players that stepped in did a fantastic job, soon enough we will pick up some points that we deserve.

The conditions meant that neither side could play the football they wanted. bitterly cold, a lovely hail shower and driving cross-field winds on a soggy, bobbly pitch meant it was never going to be a classic.

On another note fantastic after match food in the St Agnes clubhouse, even if it wasnt for us and instead the rugby sides :clapper:
