MJP
Town v Penryn, should be a tasty one this year looking at the table.
5WH
With Penryn's 1st team (at Home to Truro) and Falmouth Town's 1st Team (away to PZ) playing at 11am, you would have thought that the 2nd's would have played at 2pm so that those of us that want to get out of the house for some peace would have more football to watch! Agree the match should be a tasty one, could even be a title decider..
John Mead
Kick-off time for Penzance v Falmouth Town (SWPL) has not yet been agreed. Penzance favour 2.00 pm, Falmouth would like 11.00 am, and 3.00pm could be imposed by the League if agreement is not reached by Wednesday!! cornishteddyboy
For the past 500 years Penzance's 2 teams have a Boxing Day match, the Reserves in the morning, the 1st team in the afternoon because supporters can then watch both matches. This year both teams have been fixtured to play at the same time hence the confusion re the 1st team. Pz and Falmouth Town are nearly in agreement on the afternoon kick-off, just needs a bit of tweeking.
John Mead
I think it's right that the home team should have the choice of kick-off time but I have not yet been approached by Porthleven to discuss the start time for Penzance Reserves on Boxing Day. crystal hood
John their was emails sent quite a few weeks ago asking clubs to confirm ko times for Boxing Day, I believe anyone who didn't confirm automatically went to a 11am ko, as per standard I believe. CharlesYoung
Helston V Porthleven (SWPL) is a 2PM kick off. So surely it makes sense that Porthleven V Penzance JCCL kick off at 11AM & Penzance firsts at 2PM That way everyone is happy. Some people make a bigger deal out of issues that are so very easily resolved with a bit of thought

crystal hood
after what I saw at St Just yesterday Im thinking our game could be quite dirty! lets hope Andy Howes is on top form and keeps control! Not really sure if im looking forward to it now, reckon a few will be walking away with injuries especially if the two footed lunges go in like they were yesterday ! cornishteddyboy
No, we gave St Ives a choice of the kick-off time as both clubs agreed either a morning or Friday evening kick-off. No-one wanted to play New Years Eve afternoon. Shopping, drinking or family time.
