Perranwell 2 Culdrose 1. Well deserved win for perranwell against an under strength Culdrose team. A good learning experience for a few of the Culdrose boys who have never had the pleasure of playing on the worst pitch in the combo. Even though the management told them what to expect a few of them couldn't believe the antics from the people watching ie baying for blood every time one of their players was tackled and even the ex-player on the side threatening players. They got what the wanted when we had a player sent off in injury time for what looked a fair tackle. The bloke who spent 90 mins running behind our lino trying to intimadate him didn't do Perran any favours as well. Would like to have seen their manager stop this. A stronger ref would have been helpful but he was like a rabbit in the headlights.

Like I said the better side won but the manner of the defeat left a sour taste.

I would like to know who was running behind your lino for 90 minutes was !! as for the sending off your guy went in with his studs too high!!

i thought all in all the game was played in a good spirit...

As for the supporters baying for blood???? sour grapes springs to mind!!

Was a terrible potential leg breaking tackle.

Nobody on the sidelines was running up and down the pitch that's for sure.

I thought the referee had a decent game, apart from booking me, lol... but he let the game flow as much as he could.
