What is the reason for this comment Mr Blazey are Camelford not worthy of being alongside such a club as Buckland?? Pride and passion will go alot further than money! Sort your own back yard out and stop wasting virtual paper on pointless comments!

I know there is a big issue of "games in hand", but how on earth are Camelford only one place behind Buckland?

Sorry - I could have worded this a lot better!

Having watched Camelford v St Blazey a few weeks ago, Camelford did not look like a top 8 side, far from it.

What they are achieving is fantastic and the club should be very proud of themselves.

Dan i saw that game and agree Camels didn't play well, but still won 2 0 a good result if your not playing well. They did the double over Dartmouth beat Collumpton Bovey and Elburton and had narrow defeats against Saltash and Liskeard. They lost 2 0 at St Austell on Saturday who looked ordinary Camels could have been 3 up before Saints scored, and on tuesday lost 2 1 at Lanson who scored the winner in the last few mins, Lanson were the best footballing side but Camels had 2 good chances to be 3 0 up, and not taking chances is a big problem for them at the moment. With Parkway Bodmin and Falmouth coming up in the next few weeks points might be hard to come by we will see. As said in a previous post Camels don't get paid a penny so makes a mockery of what some clubs pay to win nowt. A few of their players have allegedly been approached with stupid money offers but all so far have chosen to stay. I think my last statement answers your question as to why they are just beyond Buckland, loyalty and commitment something sadly lacking in football these days. Hope this insight helps to make things a little clearer.

I

Wouldn't the fact that they have conceded 12 goals in their last 5 games be more of a problem, remember it only takes one goal to win a game!!

In the last 2 games against St Austell and Lanson; Camels could have been winning 3 0 and been out of sight, makes defending a whole lot easier. You can win matches if you concede but you can't win if you don't score enough 1 goal can be enough but it hardly ever is. In the SWPL premier if you don't take your chances you lose more often than not.

A few of their players have allegedly been approached with stupid money offers...

So how much money are you talking about when you say your players have had 'stupid' offers?

I only said allegedly been approached with stupid money offers, only heard through the grapevine, in fact a bloke from 1 of the clubs that offered money told me so i don't know if it is true, but he had no reason to lie.
