Cornwall FA are inviting girls under the age of 18 as of midnight on the 31st August to attend a trial or trials for possible selection into the County Representative side. The Cornwall team will play 4 matches maybe 5 in total in the South West Counties Championship. Club Secretaries have already been circulated with the invatation to forward names of girls who they feel maybe of the standard required. However the girls themselves can come forward if they wish to attend. Please e/mail davidjbray@onetel.com with a contact detail. The County Managers are hopeing to hold the first trial during the second week of August. The opening fixture is on Sunday 18th September, when Cornwall host Somerset at Pennygilliam, home ground of Launceston FC. The kick off is scheduled for 2.30 pm. :c:

David Bray
Is there anything in the pipeline to get a county mens team back up and running Dave?? Afraid not Dan. Getting players released from their Clubs became a such major headache for the Counties that the 'Senior' Section of the Competition became defunct especially when the Forces teams also withdrew.
