spurfect
I forgot Hutton and Sandro. To be honest that would be a great deal for Bolton. Those 4 players will improve their squad. So what is the value of that lot.? Quoted in the media, the deal comes to around £17 million. Arsenal are interested as well.

spurfect
Looks like Mr Levy has pulled another master stroke. Rumours ,are that Paris St Germain have made a £13 million move for Adel Taarabt of Q.P.R. Good news for Spurs is,when he left Tottenham there was a 20% sell on clause,on any transfers. That would mean nearly £3 million . More news. Spurs have dropped their interest in Cahill. They have opened talks with Matthew Upson, who is available on a free. A deal is nearly complete for a 20 year old striker Pedroza.

somersetspur
No transfer news here, but some good news for Spurs fans. With all the ho-ha,about Modric,it was nice to hear that 2 of our most promise-ing youngsters,Danny Rose and Kyle Walker have extended their contracts until 2015 and 2014. Beniot Assou Ekotto has also expressed his desire to finish his career at Spurs, because he doesnt wish to play for any other Club. Great news, put this along side are other young talent, like Kyle Naughton,Steven Caulker,Andros Townsend,Dean Parrett and Jake Livermore,WHO CARES WHAT MODRIC WANT. Mangle
Yes Mr Somersetspur, lots of young talent. Arsenal have had lots of young talent for several years now. Can't win anything! Modric is a great player, and your team is better with him in it. Just like Arsenal is with Nasri for instance.

Agree Mangle,Spurs would miss Modric, and I admire Clubs that try and keep the vultures at bay. Both Spurs and the Goons, run their Clubs on a sound financial basis. But how the hell can they compete. Modric earns £45,000 a week at Spurs.Chelski offer him £130,000. It was claimed,Spurs offered Augero,£100,000 a week and pay Athletico £30 million[Tongue in cheek],in January. Man City offer him £230,000 a week and pay £40 million. They even find ways around the Financial fair play policy by UEFA. Not a cat in hells chance of winning the League. Is it good for the Premiership. Man U,Man C,or Chelski for the League. Arsenal,Liverpool and Spurs will fight for 4th.

Two clubs fighting over the honours, the rest making up the numbers! Loyalty? Gone. Money talks. I guess we all have our price, and the sums of money involved these days are tremendous. It's too far away from me (financially) to begin to wonder at it really. I love to think that players play for clubs and build up a loyalty. Why bother going to another club that already has a surplus of players in your position, possibly meaning a reduced number of 1st team games. Perhaps £150,000 per week has something to do with it!! We'll see.....
