Stuart Dudley steps down at Torpoint Athletic

Recommended Posts

On behalf of the committee of Torpoint Athletic FC, I have to announce that due to work commitments Stuart Dudley has stepped down as manager of our South West Peninsula League side with immediate effect.

We fully respect this decision, knowing that Stuart would not want to sell us short by not being able to give the position the time and effort it deserves.

The Club is in a strong position, having achieved its highest ever Step Six finish this season, together with making Peninsula League history with the memorable FA Vase run.

The aim now is to continue progressing and get the team in a position where we are realistically challenging for honours.

This season has seen the full integration of the Duchy team into the football structure. This coupled with the strong East Cornwall Squad will make Torpoint AFC an attractive proposition.

The committee are now actively looking to appoint a successor and any correspondance with regard to the position should be made in the first instance to The Chairman, Torpoint AFC, The Mill, Mill Lane,Torpoint, PL11 2RE, or via email to pwhitworthpafc@aol.com.

We would like to thank Stuart for his efforts over the last two seasons and wish him all the best for the future.

PAUL WHITWORTH

CHAIRMAN
