Review 2010/11

Just for a laugh.....taken from the Peninsula thread with a few changes.

If you're involved with a ECPL team you're not allowed to answer with anyone/anything to do with your own club ;)

Nothing nasty either.......

Best Food – The pub at st stephen Boro did good grub

Friendliest club – St Dennis

Best signing – Harrison from Launceston to Bude, may have been last season but he is a good player

Under performers – Bude, with the team they have got, not winning anything and dropping away in the league will be very disappointed

Over achievers - Sticker for me, pushing the top two all the way made it more exciting this year

Worst place to visit – no where really, all decent

Worst Facilities – Probus, one hot shower is just not enough

Best striker – Carl Rickard, scored three great goals against us, and was the main difference in the two games

Best Midfielder - Left wing back for St Dennis, cracking left foot and attacking threat

Best Defender - Wayne Cornish at Bude, solid and dependable, never seems to have an off game.

Best Goalkeeper – The young St Stephen Boro keeper was excellent when we played them

Best Referee - Had a cracking ref early part of season, i think known as Pround Grandad on this site

Best Supported Club - St Dennis

Best Ground/Pitch - Sticker, St Dennis, Torpoint, Bodmin, Bere Alston are all fantastic but my personal favourite this year was Plymouth Parkway having not played on that pitch before.

Would have thought Tavistocks pitch would have got a mention. Got to be one of the best pitches and facilities to change in. I know there has been problems with the showers, but like with any new build will get sorted eventually. The fire devastated the club house, and I am sure once the new build has been completed the facilities have to be up there with the best of them.
