Div 3

Mawnan Res - 0

Troon 3rds - 0

Hard fought draw on a mahusive pitch! Played at Bickland due to cricket at Mawnan I think.

Outstanding performance by Troon today, more than matched 2nd placed Mawnan and had chances to win the game.

We're looking good with our new formation (shame it's too late in the season!)

Defence worked hard and our CB pairing were brilliant today. George Weah ran his socks off in midfield and Joser sat infront of the back 4 well which allowed myself to have time and space to play. Rowley was awesome down the wing, chased everything and on another day would have had a brace!

Lovely pitch to play on and Mawnan are a good side, nice bunch of lads too.

Porthleven Rangers 1-0 Falmouth Athletic

Athletic missing 6 regulars but still gave a good account of ourselves against a very good Port side who pretty much controlled the game and on another day may have battered us, but our defence was solid and our keeper outstanding. Porthleven deserved their win and were the better team on the day. Shame for us to finish our season on a loss but on a very successful season all round cant really complain

Congrates to the 1st team on winning division 1 tonight, another trophy to add to the 2 we have already won for the club, well done to Phil and the boys

Up the Athletic :yahoo::thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Wheatly Cobb cup semi final replay @underlane wendron

Hayle 2-5 st day 3rds

St day take on porthleven rangers next thursday 12th may at the same venue

St day reserves take on rosudgeon in the 2nd of the division two cup semi finals @ helston tomorrow night for the right to face Stithians in the final on may 18th, also @ wendron!

Hopefully there will be More silverware added to the St Day trophy cabinet to go alongside the division two championship already in there

With the reserves reaching the Percy Stephens cup and barker bowl finals and the thirds reaching he WCC final and the semi tomorrow that could be a distinct possibility

Fingers crossed!!
