PLYMOUTH ARGYLE LEGENDS IN ST AGNES

St Agnes AFC Bolster Veterans face the game of their lives on Sunday 7th November when they play host to Plymouth Argyle Legends in a charity fixture at Enys Parc St Agnes.

Kicking off at 2pm entry will be £2 with £1 for concessions.

The Plymouth Argyle Legends are a team of former Plymouth Argyle players whilst the St Agnes Bolster Veterans are made up of former players from local Leagues such as the Jolly's Combination, Falmouth Helston and One and All Mining League - all aged 35 years and over!

With players such as Chris Hargreaves (Plymouth Argyle 1998-2000) and Leigh Cooper (Plymouth Argyle 1979 - 1990) the fixture promises to provide fun and entertainment whilst on a serious side raising important funds to be divided equally between St Agnes AFC and the 'Jeans for Genes' Charity which works to change the world for children with genetic disorder.

St Agnes AFC Chairman Mandy Kimmins said "We are all really looking forward to this fixture - I know our Bolster Veterans will do there best! Today we are raising funds to support a fantastic charity in Jeans for Genes. We have chosen this charity as a couple within our club have a beautiful son called Samson who has Costello's Syndrome which is a rare genetic disorder. Jeans for Genes have helped fund a conference about Costello's Syndrome and St Agnes AFC would like to help to put something back in support of Samson and his family!"

There will be a raffle and auction on the day with the newly refurbished club bar open and refreshments available.

Everyone is welcome - wearing jeans of course in support of 'Jeans for Genes'!
