GwinearNo.10 Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Gwinear CT 2 - 1 Trevenson . ( 0 - 1 ) ht The classic game of two half's ! Trevenson played better than any one that's visited this season in the 1st half against a strong wind and but for a couple of 1st class saves by the Gwin keeper Trevenson would of had a 3 goal lead at half time. We changed our shape for the second half and dominated the first 30 minutes scoring two goals within a minute of each other. Back came Trevenson who gave it a real go for the last 15 but the home side held on. Draw probably a fairer result both keepers played very well making some cracking saves and the game was well reffed through out. Good luck to Trevenson good to see you've bounced back stronger this season. Gwinear CT goals coming from the two James's , Paradise with the equaliser and Breakwell with the winner. :yahoo:

Mangle Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Mining 3 Newlyn NA Res. 1 Hayle 6 More competitive than it sounds. Hard fought, only 0-1 to Hayle at half time, but injuries and age perhaps took their toll, with Newlyn finishing with 10 men (no sending off but both subs used). Bollocks!

jolzy10 Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 St Just-8 Trispen-6 won't go into much detail as I'd be here all night, a crazy game as u can see! But a game we should never have lost after being 4-0 after 10 mins, we have to learn to stop making really bad mistakes which don't even get seen on a school pitch. But also to be fair to the hosts they never gave up and continued to press and cause us problems, so fair play to them. They played really nice football throughout and there young side just had the fitness which in the end settled it, the trispen goals came from the perfect hat-trick courtesy of Elliott Jolly's strikes, a Rob Sharpe curler, a poached Rob Tolley strike and a Stu Williams strike, all in all a very bad day at the office for the pens and something we need to sort out and fast, we're dropping too many points from simple errors! Well played to St Just on the 3 pts.
The General Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Well done Gallers and the lads at Gulval. Great result.

Big Dave's Dad Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Wendron 2 Perranporth 0 h/t 1-0 A 6th minute goal by Keir Dent gave Wendron the lead and he ran through to seal it in the 88th minute. In between, the match was hard but cleanly fought. perranporth fought hard and were a constent threat to the wendron back line , but was dissapointed to see the perranporth under 12's manager throw his shirt and storm off the pitch in front of one of his own young players. what is that teaching them.the linesman in the second half also told one of the wendron ball boys to f**k off. a great advert to local football. apart from those incedents a good hard fought game keep going perranporth your better than results are showing.

Martin Eddy Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 div 3 ST.Ives mariners 0 ST.Buryan res. 8 (0-6 h/t) good game of football today credit to mariners never gave up.felt sorry as i had to dissallow a penalty and the retake went over the bar for mariners.good luck to both teams for the season it was enjoyable to ref today. also heard Titans 1 carbis bay 2 abandoned after 50 mins ref pulled a hammy
baggie Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Sr Buryan 1 Ilogan 5 Cracking fixture to be a part of, Illogan played the 1st half against the wind & some heavy rain at times, we soaked up a lot of pressure with Holsey & Harris playing particurly well in the middle of our defence, we went 0-1 up at HT without having a shot on goal. 2nd half Bury boys came out fired up looking for an early equaliser but after St's keeper went walkabout he got punished from 40 yards from Rob Bray who hit a peach into the corner, a brace from Treloar, the 1st a screamer from 30 maybe 35 yds in a wide position which rattled in off the underside of the bar & another own goal (although Cally wants it) saw us home to a convincing win. St's goal coming from a dubious penalty, I think the player involved knows he dived but eh ho. Would like to thank the St's for the burger & chips afterwards & look forward to the return match. Laters.
Niddsy Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Mining 3 Trevenson 1 - 4 Praze (H/T 1 - 1) Praze scorers Richard Fisher 3, Luke Williams 1 The visitors started the better and should have been two up early on. The home side took the lead however, against the run of play. Praze pulled level on the stroke of half-time. The second half saw the visitors playing some good football and deserved to take the lead. They soon went 3 - 1 up after a well worked free kick. Praze captain Richard Fisher put the game beyond the home side with his third goal of the match. Trevenson kept going until the last whistle. Praze man of the match was Jason Hawke. Another good team performance - well done lads - keep it going!
SNKY JH Posted October 23, 2010 Report Posted October 23, 2010 Illogan 5 - 2 Chacewater A good performance from the Illogan side, Goalscorers - Steve Abbott-smith 2 Stu Rule 2 Russell Hargreaves All the best to Chacewater for the season !! :smiley20:
vontrap Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 CSM 2 NEWLYN 1 Fairly good game, which should have probably ended in a draw against a good CSM team. We played really well in the first half against the wind to go in 0-0. In the second half we were complacent & didn't give the same effort with the wind behind us and went 1-0 down, but managed to pull one back 10 minutes later. After a few chances at each end, CSM broke in the last two minutes and scored, even though our linesman had flaggged for offside. Now CSM were screaming he was cheating but he said the offside came from the first attack in which both strikers where off, which we also believe and we dont cheat, its only mining leagur football! (if fact we spent most of the game shouting at our linesman for NOT giving decisions!) When the ref saw his flag he put his had up for a freekick and when CSM started shouting about it, turned and gave the goal without even consolting the linesman, even though the ref was stood on the halfway line when CSM scored???!!! Pretty poor really but what can you do? That said a much better performance from last week, even with shuffling the team around again and missing three or four players!! Thanks to CSM, looking forward to the return fixture....

GuvDRed Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 Rosudgeon Res 9 Newquay 1 Fantastic performance from the lads,we played some really good football and but from an unbelievable performance from the visitors keeper it could have been a lot more.I must say Newquay have got a very good young side and if they stick together and add a couple of older heads they could become some side. They never gave in and deserve alot of credit for making it a great game that was also really well reffed. As for Rosudgeon i have to say the lads really are starting to show the benefits of sticking together for the last couple of years and playing top football.I can't give these fellas enough credit they deserve every thing that comes because they work so hard. But we are more than aware nothing is won after a couple of games and know we've got to maintain our level and keep working Next week away to Per'pth where the work continues. Man Of The Match: Jonny,He was asked to play centre-mid and was fantastic, hard as a rock, never stopped working and was a driving force all day long. Goal scorers. TBA (Jozzer)2 GEORDIE(Dean) 2 STEVIE D(Dale) 2 CHESNEY(Zak) 2 DANNY H(Hopkins) 1 Donkey:Me the lino, could'nt see the offside for there goal. PURPLE ARMY.
paulo bestiniho Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 Any news officialy on what happened down at carbis bay??
Martin Eddy Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 it was at titans and the ref pulled a hamstring :c:
paulo bestiniho Posted October 24, 2010 Report Posted October 24, 2010 thats unfortunate for both teams sorry didnt realise it was at titans place! where are the fourth officials or a good physio for these games to carry on lol!
Martin Eddy Posted October 25, 2010 Report Posted October 25, 2010 paulo it is ironic because i am a qualified ref and run the line most weeks but was refereeing at another game on saturday :c:
