THE WELL 66 Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 St Blazey v A.F.C St Austell Full list on CCFA web site. This must be the tie of this round.
Graham Deacon Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 Dobwalls home to Liskeard will be interesting.

DanBlazey Posted October 14, 2010 Report Posted October 14, 2010 On paper, a very easy win for St Blazey. Sadly the match is to be played on grass, not paper.
CrApPy Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 On paper, a very easy win for St Blazey. Sadly the match is to be played on grass, not paper. Very easy win?!? Nothing like putting pressure on your own team :)
Tony Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Pin that up in the dressing room before kick-off just in case our lads need any extra motivation!!! Seriously, I assume it was tongue in cheek from Dan. The game will be a tough one to call but one to look forward to for supporters and players - should be an excellent crowd. Torpoint v Bodmin also looks like an interesting fixture, tough one for the holders.
Leaner Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 On paper, a very easy win for St Blazey. Sadly the match is to be played on grass, not paper. No doubt your wanting a reaction from someone at St.Austell! Not going to happen. I'm sure all players, supporters and committee at both clubs are looking forward to what will be an exciting clash! :smiley20:
RealSousa Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Belter! Up there with Leicester - Forest. Blazey may actually get a good crowd with the travelling St.Austell faithful!
DanBlazey Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 All crowds are low these days, but ours are actually the 3rd best in Cornwall, after Truro and St Austell. Once the novelty of Premier Division football has worn off at Poltair, or St Austell get relegated, our numbers will be above St Austell again.
The Gooner Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Dobwalls home to Liskeard will be interesting. Hopefully a decent crowd to watch what should be a thrilling local derby.(potential banana skin?)
kellow Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 when are these fixtures scheduled for????
chairman Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 when are these fixtures scheduled for???? 4th December

Not with all the new sigings from the mighty Blaze
RealSousa Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Yeah i'm sure the attendances may dip once the novelty wears off. Bit like the novelty of playing for St Blazey and going to St Austell!
Suebo Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 What signings would you be talking about Crappy?
kitbag Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Just nice to see St Teath in the draw,Goldolphin have always walloped us in years gone by, tough one for us but as the one of the lowest placed teams at senior level in the county anything would have been hard.Home draw hopefully good sized crowd who knows what can be achieved.
Adlestrop Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Having watched both St.Teath and Godolphin,I reckon this will be a close-run game.Good strikers in both sides and with the Saints having added Josh Insley to their squad and with home advantage I,m going for a home win.A big crowd for certain.
cornishbaggie Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Your keepnet must be bursting at the seams Dan
cantona7 Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Should be a good game, look forward to it!
Paul Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 St Blazey v St Austell is a great tie but a shame its so early on in the competition. Wether or not its a good game to watch is another thing as the games you expect to deliver something special dont always meet expectation. Should see a good crowd. Hopefully around 500 but you never no. I hear a certain midfielder has left St Blazey for St Austell. Certainly a shame but thats football and no one player is bigger than any club. Seems strange that hes gone when were in the middle of a good run in the Vase. Was the smell of money a big factor? Good luck to any player who can get it. Or maybe a change and the chance to play with friends possibly. Who nos. Well before all that, Cullumpton away tomorrow.

Paul Posted October 15, 2010 Report Posted October 15, 2010 Fair enough then. Onwards and upwards all round. You need a player to have full commitment, else their no good to anyone. Good service from him though.
motherwontletmegoargyle Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 4th December is FA Vase 3rd round date. I take it the Cornish teams who make it to the 3rd round will have their Senior Cup game posponed for a week.
Dave Deacon Posted October 16, 2010 Report Posted October 16, 2010 Yes, I would have thought so. It normally the FA ties take preference over anything else
Guest burty1 Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 as this is such a big game should this not be played on a friday night then you would certainly see a good crowd what a game for local football.
Paul Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 As I posted on another thread, why not stick the admission prices up to £5 and make a few quid. Every penny counts these days!! Problem is, you would get some tight gits moaning about it for sure!!
Dave Deacon Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 played on a friday night A Cornwall Senior Cup tie on a Friday night - now that would be a novelty!
Paul Posted October 17, 2010 Report Posted October 17, 2010 Could be looking at a 400 crowd on a saturday, possibly alot more on a friday night!! Just looked at the Argyle fixtures and on the 11th of December Argyle are home to Exeter. If St Blazey did win their F.A Vase match and the senior cup tie was put back to the 11th then surly playing it on the friday night would make the most of a big crowd as playing it on the saturday would see quite a few from the St Austell/St Blazey area going to see the local Derby at Home Park!!
motherwontletmegoargyle Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 played on a friday night A Cornwall Senior Cup tie on a Friday night - now that would be a novelty! Saltash v Truro a couple of seasons ago?
Dave Deacon Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 played on a friday night A Cornwall Senior Cup tie on a Friday night - now that would be a novelty! Saltash v Truro a couple of seasons ago? Once in a hundred plus years - still a novelty don't you think! :)
Goldeneye Posted October 18, 2010 Report Posted October 18, 2010 Once in a hundred plus years - still a novelty don't you think! No, a precedent don't you think! :)
