Pablo Posted October 10, 2010 Report Posted October 10, 2010 Other Round 1 results courtesy of the CCFA website: Bodmin Saints Youth 0 - 2 Grampound Youth Falmouth United Youth 2 - 6 Helston Athletic Youth Penzance Youth 5 - 2 Newquay AFC Youth St Stephen Youth HW-W Torpoint Athletic Youth (Home Win – Walkover) Saltash United Juniors HW-W Pensilva Youth (Home Win – Walkover) Bodmin Saints Youth 0 - 2 Grampound A first ever competitive match for Bodmin Saints Youth this. Played in a very good spirit throughout and for me the game was a pleasure to watch. Saints shaded the first half and Grampound the second, though Saints youngsters fought until the bitter end. I certainly believe their season will improve by the game. Well done to both sides for a competitive effort on a very hot afternoon. Some doubt was bandied around the ground as to the validity of the visiting keeper's ability to play in an under eighteen match. It will be interesting to see the decision of the CCFA as to the legality of his appearance.
telithowitis Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 What happened here/whats the story Pablo? I see on the FA website that Saints are in the next round on a walk over. Good luck in the next round. :c:
Pablo Posted October 21, 2010 Report Posted October 21, 2010 That's correct mate. Grampound lost the game due to playing a player who was over-age. Thank-you for your good wishes.
