The Big Easy Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Taken from the SWPL Forum: Saturday 13th November Bristol Manor Farm v TORPOINT ATHLETIC Dawlish Town v Sherborne Town Or BODMIN TOWN PLYMOUTH PARKWAY v Melksham Town ST BLAZEY v Hengrove Athletic Willand Rovers v SALTASH UNITED
Dave S (MUFC) Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Interesting draw for St Blazey - playing Hengrove, a side just a few miles away from Brislington who you beat on Saturday! But you have them at home this time of course. Hengrove are Toolstation Div 1, so one division below Brislington, but they're 4th in the table & have won 6 of their 8 league games so far. They'll be no pushover & they've done well in the last few years to rise up from the Somerset County League to the higher rungs of Toolstation 1, but I'm sure Blazey will make home advantage count. Bristol MF v Torpoint sounds a good one too. Pity the date clashes with a Mangotsfield home game, otherwise I would have gone to see that one.
Nemesis Posted October 4, 2010 Report Posted October 4, 2010 Willand v Saltash, better let air traffic control know about that one ! No point having midfielders, formation of 5-0-5 will suit both sides. Good luck to The Ashes, Willand is a nice ground and nice folk. They play route one and are a very physical side, Newquay didn't get one strong challenge in all afternoon on Saturday, we let Saltash have it all their own way.
Paul Posted October 5, 2010 Report Posted October 5, 2010 Well St Blazey must be happy with their draw. Bit of the un known for sure. The management and players must be thinking this one is there for the taking and a good chance to reach the later stages. Still quite a few local sides involved at this stage whick must be an improvement on recent years. Bring it on.

Before we get too carried away, they went to Ilfracombe and got a result there in the last round. They've also come through 3 rounds, like us.
