Great game too. st Buryan took the lead within 2 minutes and then scored again when wendron keeper misjudged a cross and the ball went straight in ,2-0 down in 10 minutes. But wendron dug in and replied with 4 goals to finnish the first half 4-2 up.although no goals scored in the second half it was a game for the suporters with both sides playing some great football. well done to both teams for showing mining 3 football can be entertaining and not just long ball. :smiley20:

just like to thank the ref, chris english, who traveled a long way (even longer because he got lost) and reffed the game very well, controlling a midfield battle that could of flared up if he hadnt intervened with a yellow card, and allowing the game to flow as much as possible.

Many thanks for the comments, but I don't know who chris english is, but it was me that forgot where Wendron FC was! Its has been 7 or 8 years since I last visited.

It was a pleasure to referee this very enjoyable game as both sides tried to play football, & certainly worth travelling for. Although I don't consider 40 miles that far, I've certainly been a lot further! And it certainly beat having no game to ref!
