St Darren Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 St Agnes 4 - 2 Mullion Tom Benney 2, Dan O'Toole, Alec Penrose We should have scored about 8, but credit to Mullion for fighting back. They had man sent off as well for two bookings, deservably so, but we should have also had a man sent off if the ref was consistent!!!
cornishteddyboy Posted October 2, 2010 Author Report Posted October 2, 2010 Need attendances and goal scorers
Deano Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Perranwell 1-0 Illogan Perran with a new sigining in the bag as well!!! Lethal!!!
wackojnr Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Perranwell 1-0 Illogan Perran with a new sigining in the bag as well!!! Lethal!!! no disrespect to mr lawrence but he wasnt very "lethal" today. and to be honest illogan did deserve a point. the goal was scrappy and the header was going wide.pitch was in perranwells favour.
Harry_Breasbats Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 wendron 1-1 Helston Att 15-20 Wendron came out of the blocks like a fooking rocket and dominated for the first 15 minutes and deservedly took the lead from my own goal... Wendron played some great football in the first half however a few dodgey goal kicks/ corner decesions against us didn't help and we even had 2 goals strangely disallowed. Overall Wendron had the better possesion and could of had 2 goals. 1-0 HT Second half was a different story. Helston dominated for large period and finally got a goal to stand through Mark goldsworthy. Helston limited Wendron to a couple of counter attacks which we duely dealt wih. From Wendron's first half display and our second half display a draw was a fair result. Wendron play good football and will upset alot of teams along the way best of luck for the rest of the season :drink:
kempy Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Perranwell 1-0 Illogan Perran with a new sigining in the bag as well!!! Lethal!!! no disrespect to mr lawrence but he wasnt very "lethal" today. and to be honest illogan did deserve a point. the goal was scrappy and the header was going wide.pitch was in perranwells favour. The header was not going wide we do that in training every week !!! head it wide and it will go in :clapper:
murphy Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 think thats a fair write up harry, although it was a great own goal but fully deserved i believe and in fairness i didnt think you made the wendron keeper work that hard really, although you did have a lot of play second half but thought the defence were superb good goal scored though turned superbly. good game to play in. all the best
Reedy Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 culdrose 3 - 2 St ives, culdrose scorers - gasson, og, reed
Guest Quicky9 Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 Good win for Perranwell today. Shame about all the afters, looks like it was a manager who couldnt take losing or a bit of banter. Dont need idiots like that. Cheer up
tricksy Posted October 2, 2010 Report Posted October 2, 2010 I thought frazer cadman had a very good game for perranwell to day and was very unlucky with the shot tat came back off the bar
cornishteddyboy Posted October 2, 2010 Author Report Posted October 2, 2010 Table done, just need the blanks filled in.
Pitty Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Newquay 1-0 Holman SC Newquay scored in the 87th min to secure the 3 points. A much improved performance from Holmans saw a reorganised defence welcome back club captain Jason Blight and install the impressive Adam Gill at left back. A fairly even game saw both sides have chances in the 1st half. Adam Selley had a Header which he just failed to get hold of in front of goal for Holmans and the Newquay centre half who was strong all game also had a header which was powerful enough to hit the ground in front of the away sides goal which then bounced over the crossbar. HT 0-0 The 2nd half was again a fairly even affair although as the half wore on Holmans began to tire which saw Newquay start to exploit some gaps however the best chance for Holmans to take the lead fell to Rob Press who broke the offside trap from a pass from Selley with only the advancing keeper to beat he calmly lobbed the advancing home goalie only to see the ball hit the inside of the right post and roll along the goaline giving the Newquay keeper who ad been excellent all afternoon time to gather the ball up. The winning goal came following a Holmans free kick which was cleared by the Newquay defence a breakaway ensued and a fierce shot from Jamie Tipton fired past Holmans goalkeeper Jamie Cooper into the bottom right hand corner. Holmans entertain Mullion next Saturday with both sides looking for their first win of the season.
gerrard8 Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Good win for Perranwell today. Shame about all the afters, looks like it was a manager who couldnt take losing or a bit of banter. Dont need idiots like that. Cheer up ;)

YoungPercy Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 St Agnes 4 - 2 Mullion Tom Benney 2, Dan O'Toole, Alec Penrose We should have scored about 8, but credit to Mullion for fighting back. They had man sent off as well for two bookings, deservably so, but we should have also had a man sent off if the ref was consistent!!! Mullion Goalscorers were Rob Carey and Joe Lugg, 1st goal was laid on by Mullions srike partnership of Mark Pope and Graham cook who squared the ball to Rob Carey who blasted the ball past the Aggie keeper. The second goal will probably be the best goal Joe Lugg will ever score. A good 30-35 yards out lobbed the keeper hitting the bar and post on its way in. I think at 2-1 we had a good chance of getting something out of the game, and then the sending off hurt us but we managed to get level short after, but conceding the 3rd so soon after we scored we never looked like getting into especially with the 10 men. Maybe it would have been different if I had scored my penalty instead of hitting the post. I agree that if the ref was consistent then more players would have been sent off, but there were no malicous tackles, maybe a couple of late ones but nothing bad. Good game played in good spirits. Good luck to Aggie for the rest of the season
wells wilderbeast Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 Town scorers were Jake Harvey and Luke Wort. Southall had 1 for port other was called matt, didn't get his last name.good game of football played on a good pitch.town went 2-0 down but played well to fight back in a game which could of been 10 all if both teams took there chances!

Perranwell Twins Posted October 3, 2010 Report Posted October 3, 2010 :yahoo: magical moment at the end there, probably our best moment since we signed unlucky illogan, was a hard fought game, think we deserved to win tho!

Wendron play good football and will upset alot of teams along the way best of luck for the rest of the season fair report from saturday's game. we started the match really well and thought we deservedly took the lead and continued to create chances throughout the first half. Only remember one disallowed goal which was rightfully given off side, Goldy was some way off. We were slow starting the second half and allowed Helston to get into their stride but defended well and fought hard and they never really threatened our goal. They deservedly got the equaliser through a well taken goal from Mark Goldsworthy. In all I imagine it was an entertaining match for the neutrals and a draw was a fair result. Ref wasn't the best and seemed to be on some sort of power trip, however their was no real problems for him to deal with as both sides battled hard but fairly. Good luck to Helston for the season; hard side to break down and Goldsworthy will always be a threat.

It was disallowed for your number 6 pushing and shoving me all over the shop, Ref missed it on the first 3 corners but decided to see it on that one! It was a good hard game, we definitely defended far better than we have at other times this season, but 2nd half we looked a little lost when we had the ball! Nice to see you playing again Chris, shame I only lasted the 20 mins this week! All the best for the season, see you next time round
