The boys owed me a performance after last weeks shocking display against Redruth and all 14 stood up to the challenge today. James Breakwell came off the bench at half time with fire in his belly and bagged 4 with the ginger ninjas helping themselves to one each. Would of kept a clean sheet too but for a howler of a decision by the man in the middle . Good luck to Sennen and thanks for the best grub I've ever had after a footy match top spread !!! :clapper:

Good win for us today as we took our chances and scored 5 in the first half . CNB had some good shots from range which our kepper saved brilliantly in first half, different game 2nd half. CNB pushed real hard to get their goal but we dug in and got the clean sheet also.

Well done to Jowan who pretty much owned every header he went for . Jamie Hall also who was fearless up front, bagged himself a perfect hatrick and an extra to boot , could've scored more? Great team effort again today long may it continue . CNB a bit rattled at times but they're not a bad bunch.

Fair play to Storm, they only had 9 a few hours before kick off and still turned up and gave us a game, I'm sure if they can get a regular side together they'll come good as they have 3 or 4 really good players. Should have probably scored a couple more but for some rash finishing, Storm's organized line and our inability to stay onside! Good to get the win though and have our regular back four in for the first time of the season.

Good luck to Storm, hope they can keep going, nice chaps...

On another note, congrats to our seconds who won 4-3 from 3-1 in the last 20mins... think thats four wins on the trot and 2nd in the league for the 'Silver Foxes' team...

Goonhavern 2-1 Halsetown

We raced into a two goal lead thanks to two penalties by Joe Carlyon and had a goal wrongly disallowed for a 'foul' on the keeper. Halsetown's number 7 was sent off midway through the first half for persistent mouthing off and fouling which was a blessing for Halsetown as they started to play football after that.

Halsetown pulled a goal back at the start of the second half after a mix up at the back. Both sides hit the bar late on but we held on for a deserved victory.

Thought the ref did well overall.

Better performance from Storm yesterday against our bogey side of the last few seasons, we are getting there slowly and I said we would be competitive by October,a couple of mistakes first half were punished but we had some stand out performances on the day and even though we lost the effort from the players called in at the last minute was superb, on another note the atmosphere at the club is the best it has been for 6 years everyone is really enjoying being part of things even if it may have a tinge of gallows humour to it, we have achieved one of our goals in creating a fun relaxed atmosphere off the pitch now we need to get the results on it to match, we still need a couple more players but they will come.

A good 3 points at gulval where alot of teams struggle. We were helped by gulval having a bare 11 but with the same old regulars turning out for them it was'nt going to be made easy for us, fitness told and we scored 4 goals in the last 20 min but to be honest we were always in control. I must say a alot of credit to gulval on there pitch i have never seen it looking better than it did on sat
