boscastle res 1-2 torpoint comrades !!! very even contest. In the 1st half torpoint took an early lead and scored from a goal outh sramble only for boscastle to go up the other end and score from an indirect free kick , after that it was end to end with boscastle hitting the upright !! in 2nd half torpoint scored a good goal from a corner and then missed a penalty which the keeper saved (not the best pen save but still stopped) this seamed to get boscastle going and after three corners and 2 clear headers they should have been level but it was not to be and it was torpoint who went away with the 3 points well played to them in a good competative game also well done to the young ref at ours today did a good job !!! good luck to torpoint for rest of season look forward to playing at yours !!!!

Lamerton 4 - 2 Bodmin Saints

I have few details as I wasn't able to travel. What I do know is the referee 'was not up to scratch'.

Most here know I am most happy to applaud good refereeing - any doubts just look at my report for last week's match when Saints lost 0 - 6 - I have never been a ref'- basher and hope not to be but from reports received; this one had a 'mare'. I'm being polite!

Cup Result:

Gerrans/St Mawes (Duchy 3) 1-4 Lanivet Inn (Duchy 5) After extra time.

Lanivet continued with the good start to the season. We had to battle hard for this result and all credit to Gerrans/St Mawes. A very physical and competitive game throughout. Good luck to you boys for the rest of the season.

Newlyn East 5 - 4 Pelynt

Great win today for Newlyn. Pelynt game to the game with a game plan to kick Newlyn off the park and it worked for a while with Pelynt going in at half time 3-1 up!! Although the scoreline didnt represent the game! After the break Newlyn did grab a goal back but ten went 4-2 down with 17 mins left. Within those 17mins Newlyn managed to get what they deserved from the game with 3 goals the latest being a Denty penalty to secure his hat-trick and he duly celebrated with a kiss to the away fans after he had been subject to abuse from them for the full 90mins.

Great win for lamerton who were 2-1 down at half time and battled back to win the game 4-2. The penalty for saints was dubious as was Lamertons fourth goal and the cards dished out to both teams were a bit over the top but thats the way the game goes.

Bodmin Saints were a pleasure to play against as they are one of the most sporting teams ive played in the last few years.

lamerton are a fair side tho, not a terrible result...many will leave there with no points this year
