Speedy Gonzales Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 After watching Arsenal last night does anyone else agree they play superior football than barcelona at the minute.they played a good Braga side and made them look amatuerish,i know this topic will hurt spurs fans and im sorry for that :)
spurfect Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Here is a Spurs fans veiw. With a name like speedy.I think you better stop taking those funny pills. You have overdosed. Just wait and see who get the furtherest in this Competition. You poor boy,I hope get help with your problem.
gillo10 Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Jake, thats definetly "a Bobby" bring your 50p fine on Saturday!! Just in case you didnt hear Barca won 5 - 1 on Tuesday vs Pana...Panith...some Greek side, and totally outplayed them!!
Speedy Gonzales Posted September 16, 2010 Author Report Posted September 16, 2010 spurfect i know youre jealous and its hurting to see us move the ball around so nicely and at ease but could you please refrain from such accusations i will admit gareth bale is looking like the best in his position..but as a team i think arsenal are playing the best stuff. Gillo...you know i see you as our very own Almunia but surely you cannot be fined for freedom of speech at falmouth!! oh yeh im half Greek so get it right its Panathinaikos bring your 50p
spurfect Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 We will see how nice you play next Tuesday night. One thing for sure.I am not jealous of your shower. Nothing to be jealous of,for nearly 6 seasons now
Goldeneye Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 Speedy in the last 5 seasons I've lost count of the number of times people have said what lovely football Arsenal are playing, while other teams walk off with the trophies! The law of averages says that Wenger is going to get it right sometime and actually win something!
Speedy Gonzales Posted September 16, 2010 Author Report Posted September 16, 2010 youre missing the point...the topic was they play the most attractive football...not the most successfull
Goldeneye Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 youre missing the point And you're missing the trophies! Points mean prizes! :yahoo:
spurfect Posted September 19, 2010 Report Posted September 19, 2010 The very reason you goons live in a dream world. Less than 7 days ago, comparing them to Barcelona. The big difference here is ,Barcelona WIN Leagues and Champions League. Reasons why The Goons DONT. SUNDERLAND 1 ARSENAL 1. 1.Playing against 11 men,is a little more difficult than 10. 2.Playing with 10 men is not easy. 3.Discipline when things dont go your way is poor.[Players+Manager] 4.Defence is not good enough. 5.Squad lacks real quality in depth. 6.No Plan B ,you play pretty football.Teams know that, and can adapt. 7.Youngsters are not progressing fast enough.6 years.? So be prepared for another great footballing season, but with nothing to show for it.
Mangle Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Typical response from a Spurs fan. So, you have already stated that Arsenal will have nothing to show for at the end of this season. Bold. Also stupid? Maybe. Too early to draw any conclusions yet. Chelsea are looking good, as are ManU. I fear another season where the rest of us will be playing catch up with those two in the league. Arsenal are looking good for top 3 finish, certainly top 4. Who else is top 4? Spurs, ManC, Aston Villa, Liverpool. Take your pick. It will be close, a long way to go.
spurfect Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 The response may be typical. But if you goons are going to compare yourself with Barcelona. What do you expect. No reply to my reasons why you wont win nothing.?
stevieb Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 every fan should be pleased with an away point ,but no prizes are handed out in september.perhaps we wont win anything again this yearand like most fans we would all be dissapointed.but i think we have added a little bit more steel to our game and have a very good young player in jack who at present seems to be holding his own with the big boys also we still have van persie and ramsey to come back so dont write us off yet, and as for tuesday night arsene always seems to blood the youngsters, some might not make the 1st team over the next couple of years but if the leave they have had a good schooling.,
gillo10 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 The response may be typical. But if you goons are going to compare yourself with Barcelona. What do you expect. No reply to my reasons why you wont win nothing.? So now your saying Arsenal WILL win something?

St Darren Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 Spurfect should be on here soon, sure I just seen him walking down the steps at the Lane!!! haha I never used to mind Spurs, but I've got a real dislike for them nowadays, due to Redknapp, and due to a load of idiots that have all of a sudden come out the woodwork since they finised a dizzy 4th in the league!
Mangle Posted September 21, 2010 Report Posted September 21, 2010 I feel sorry for Spurfect - it's only half time of extra time and 4 - 1 to the mighty Gunners. Poor old chap.

Mangle Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Daily Star: It was sweet revenge for Arsenals 5-1 mauling here two years ago in the semi-finals and signalled their intent in the competition as they recorded their biggest win at Spurs in 32 years. The Sun: It was a case of wham bam thank you Sam as Arsenal destroyed their bitter rivals in extra-time. That sparked a mass exodus from the ground and by the time the final whistle went there were more Gunners supporters in the stadium than home fans. Daily Mail: The young English contingent of Lansbury, Jack Wilshere and Kieran Gibbs, who hobbled off after 102 minutes with a suspected metatarsal problem, were particularly impressive. Central to everything, though, was Wilshere, who against the imposing figures of Sandro and Jake Livermore proved that size doesn't necessarily matter. As well as a fine passer of the ball he is a fierce competitor. A great prospect for the future for club and country. Daily Telegraph: Arsenals solitary reward of a largely one-sided half was still a glittering gem, the ball flowing between Emmanuel Eboue, Kieran Gibbs, Tomas Rosicky and Wilshire, whose low cross was turned in by Lansbury. The speed of Arsenals movement and the quality of the passing, much of it first time, was so devastating that Spurs defenders were turned to stone. Arsenal were in control. BBC: After Lansbury's appeals for a penalty were waved away, he raced into the box to convert Wilshere's cross from the left as the visitors gained just reward for their fluent start. The Guardian: A berth in the fourth round of the Carling Cup was not the real prize. Arsenal treated this match as if its outcome might reverberate for months and perhaps seasons to come. The visitors relished this match increasingly as their opponents looked dazed, tired and in some cases injured. This encounter had taken its toll. Mangle: Read 'em and weep.......
hammers Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Well Done the Arsenal, No comment yet from the almighty big mouth Spurfect, But I doubt if even that defeat will finally seal his big mouth, as he is without doubt in my view worse than the Judge any day, Spurfect is unable to make a good comment without being personal, Have you stopped Laughing yet ANITA !! Hammers, :yahoo:
Smithy Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Just found out there was a fire drill in the home stands at White Hart Lane last night after 97 minutes. That must explain why all those loyal s**** fans left so early perhaps?? Come On You Reds!!!!!!!
hammers Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Smithy, was the match not over after 97 minutes,? & if it was a fire drill maybe Spurfect left the Stadium so fast that he set off the alarm, only a thought Hammers :c:
spurfect Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Ha Ha Ha Ha. Here they all come. Jesus,we got the jewson lot out now. I dont want any sympathy from no one. Unlike some people on here who disappear, only waiting for Spurs to slip up,Im big enough to come on,and answer. Our reserves were well and truely beaten by most of the goons 1st Team. So maybe Wenger has seen the light, and decided to try and win a Trophy. My reply to that is,we have been there and done that. Bigger fish to fry for us. Off to visit the pikeys on Saturday, then back up to the Lane for a massive Champions League game next Wednesday. As for the all sorts that visit these threads to slag me and Spurs off,do you think I f---ing care. Onward and upward.
St Darren Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 "been there and done that" ?????? hahahahaha, 2 Carling Cups in what is it? 10 years? tell ya, that trophy room must be in need of an extension! that was to add to the FA Cup you won in??? oh yeah, 1991, which added to the UEFA Cup in 1984, so let me get this right, thats Four trophies???? in nearly 30 years? or have I missed any along the way??? See, this is the problem, you get some Spurs fans which are great, Coopsie for one, was on here when you were shite, now all of a sudden Spurs have a good season (harry has a healthy bank balance) and there's loads out there crowing. If you were one that stayed to the end last night and sung at the end, then hats off to you, thats what being a match going supporter is all about!

spurfect Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Works both ways Speedy baby, despite what you think, you are not always right. You wont get rid of me. If you read Darrens post he said if your one that stayed and sang til the end then hats off to you. Darren does know what his talking about. And no ones trying to get rid of you. I think you need to learn to chill a bit. You give all the 'Spurs are the best everyone else is s**t and know f**k all' but can't take it when your laughed at coz your team was beaten by a team who have won nothing in 5 years. You start these threads and then when people reply take it personally. If you don't like it don't start a thread. Simplez ;)

I'm hoping you're not going to say 40, cos I would expect something better from one of that age! Shit side from Merseyside?? shit side this year maybe, however, as a club, you're not even worth talking about in the same breath as one with a history as steeped as ours! But I'm all up for a bit of banter! one of my greatest nights as a Liverpool supporter was attending your place in 2004 or 2005 and watching our reserves beat your first team on penalties!!! only just made it back to Paddington in time for the sleeper train! Twitch in a minute, he's gonna twich in a minute, twitch in a minute!!

Arsenal made 9... thats right 9 changes from the team that started the last league game. hardly most of the goons first team! You should pick up any paper in the country and they will all tell the same story. Spuds STARTING 11 average age....22.09 yrd old Arsenal...20.72 yrs old... And you do care thats why you constantly mouth off.

spurfect Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Being a Spurs supporter, you need a good chin. Arsenal were the better side last night, and Wenger has already said today ,he wants to win the Carling Cup this season. Why has it taken him 5 years to realise that. He pulled a masterstroke over Arry last night. Mr Redknapp admitted today Wenger surprised him with his Team Selection. Looks like your chances are improving,Chelsea losing.

spurfect Posted September 22, 2010 Report Posted September 22, 2010 Dont worry. Im sure I wont disappoint.
Speedy Gonzales Posted September 22, 2010 Author Report Posted September 22, 2010 Dont worry. Im sure I wont disappoint. i have a feeling thats your first correct prediction
spurfect Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 Will we hear from mr Darren, the Liverpool man. He was very prompt when Spurs lost to a Premiership side. I hope he dont forget to qoute this result in their history. Stones and greenhouses, come to mind.
St Darren Posted September 23, 2010 Report Posted September 23, 2010 I never threw anything out there about us being a great side, I said we're a shite side but a great club! or something like that! last night was obviously not very good!!! YANKS OUT, YANKS OUT, YANKS OUT
Brianmooreshead Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Well, they didn't look like Barca yesterday did they ? Arsene Wenger is a wonderful manager but he's also a very very obstinate man Stevie Wonder could have seen that Arsenal needed a new keeper and Arsenal quibbled about a million pounds or two and so ended up with Almunia again ! Possibly the least suited goalkeeper to English football in the Division Cost you again yesterday - and will do again before seasons end
Harry_Breasbats Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Transfer window is now shut so moaning won't change a thing! Arsenal need to man up and move on!!
