not slagging anyone off,just listening to people seems st day determined to get out of this league before their classed a decent club in it,sure they dont want to make the same mistake as wendron and goonhavern,they need to follow the likes of perranwell,illogan and st agnes,all top well respected combo sides,who after years at the top level of combo would be very decent additions to the league above.

jasa. i no 4 a fact that most st day players r getting 20quid a game and reggie pearson is getting 30quid a game and ur skipper is on 40quid a game. i hear u ad an emergency training last nite coz u lost to penryn. and of coarse to pik up ur brown packet not that u deserve it from ur preformance on tues nite. best of luck :lol:

i feel sorry for the hard working committee at st day who have put in many years of hard work to get the club in the position it is now,only to have it slagged off by a few individuals.i for one would be glad to have them involved with my club. keep up the good work.and with it your dignity in local football circles. :c:

Peg Leg, we always train on Thursdays. If you knew as much as you thought you did you'd know that.

We all joined in June to team up again as half of us played in the same Truro team 6 years ago. You lot can slate the club, me, the manager as much as you like. It will only ever be taken as people hiding behind a name writing things on the Internet. We all know what routines we have and they only matter to us and us only. I couldn't care less about any other club and what happens apart from my own. It's going fine for me thanks

I would like to add though that I have nothing against Penryn as a club, nobody is acting on behalf of them. Just a few "fans" getting a bit feisty.

Well I can only suppose as CTB started the thread, he had the right to close it!

However, no matter what, more often than not - money always gets mentioned. At the moment it's St Day, next, it'll be another club to be under the spotlight.

The whole thing of players receiving money or similar perks for playing in the Cornwall Combination League has always amazed me. Why? Good for the players of course, but who's daft enough to be the providers, who in my opinion, are only wasting their money? Presumably it's spare cash to them.

Does it bring trophies? Did Illogan spend much on players in winning the championship and league cup last season?

And while we're on the subject - is there much money flying around the ECPL?

Agree stupid thread especially when most of the respondants on it are not from either of the clubs. Lets draw a line under it now and get on with football. Both quality clubs with good people involved

I knew this would happen as soon as the club turned away from using local lads and paying outsiders to play. Rodger only has himself to blame for this mess and the mockery we have become. Come on Kerwin stand up to the bullies, I thought you were the chairman!

Guilty as charged why not admit it in the first place job done . to be fair winno u cant really defend the club now youve left this all started when you and roger went their last season. And as previously stated at our so called job interview both myself and roscoe was asked what income we could bring in. Ithought they wanted at the time a football manager not a bank manager :rolleyes:

Not defending amyone Marksy me old bud. Its just a stupid thread thats causing problems between 2 good clubs from alot of individuals whom have nothing to do with the clubs and just wanna stir up shite mate.

What any club does is up to them and they should be able to get on with it....
