What a strange match.....

Falmouth had about 30 minutes of the first half...and were two down, and still looking frail at the back,Falmouth were incensed as Pope was laid out in the lead up to the goal, and was laying in the 6 yard box for some time and the ref failed to stop the game... but going forward they are a potent force, and Eddy was brought down in the box and the ref turned it down, only to give a pen to Falmouth minutes later when Eddy was agan brought down, this was one though wasnt as clear cut.... it was converted and Falmouth then started to turn the screw, Saltash keeper stopped a Green drive , and Eddy was on his heals and failed to put in the rebound, another Green drive was well blocked by the Salash defence.

Then Ludlam was caught on the ball at half way and the lively right winger for Saltash run 30 plus yards and finished well.

Falmouth tried to get back into the game second half however Saltash shut the door, and were deserved winners, and for Falmouth they have to look towards the league, good luck to Saltash, hope they go far in the competition....

after a stuttering start to the season saltash seem to be settling

down and are looking like a side that will trouble any team in this

league

look forward to friday, with confidence high should be good game
