Scooby Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 RNAS Culdrose 1-0 Mullion Chris Reed (60ish minutes) ATT 17 An even game with both sides hitting the woodwork in the first half and reliant on decent saves from both keepers. a stonewall penalty not given to Culdrose first half. Looked like a single goal would decide it!
rovers08 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Rovers 3 - 0 St Just Deserved win, in first senior derby in years ... Scorers Ricky Smith, Luke May & Tom Ramsey Att Loads

JR 08 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 st agnes 1-1 illogan illogan scorer danny williams!
Nemesis Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Newquay Res 1 v 3 St Ives Att 36 - man of the match = The St Ives keeper, no bigger than 5ft 7ins but pulled off 6 stunning saves, anyone else in the visitors goal and Newquays youngsters would have got the point they deserved. No idea of the scorers I'm afraid.
telithowitis Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Been told Penzance 1 Perranwell 0
YoungPercy Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 RNAS Culdrose 1-0 Mullion Chris Reed (60ish minutes) ATT 17 An even game with both sides hitting the woodwork in the first half and reliant on decent saves from both keepers. a stonewall penalty not given to Culdrose first half. Looked like a single goal would decide it! I think thats a good reflection of the game Scooby, I think a draw would have probably been a fair result but you have got to take your chances which Culdrose did. We may see you down in Pard Country on Saturday :drink:
Dazzah Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Wendron scorers were Luke Hunter & Mat Hayward (not Dan Thomas). Lots of youngsters in the Port side, 5 of the starting 11 only 16/17 years of age. Looking good for the future.
Pitty Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Holman SC 0-0 Troon Goalscorers - none Att 20 Honours shared at Blaythorne in the local Camborne derby. On reflection a fair result for both sides which saw Holmans record their first point of the season (Portreaths nil point record still stands.......phew) Both sides had chances but the defence for both clubs played well of particular note was Ralph Pascoe for Holmans & Beefy for Troon. Holmans entertain Helston at Blaythorne on Saturday kick off 3pm
St Darren Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Sam Hatfield scorer for St Agnes I'm knackered!!! good point for us, could have sneaked it as well.
Harry_Breasbats Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Helston 2-0 Falmouth Res Goldsworthy Jason Robertson Att- 50-60? A Very hard game today with Helston not playing that great but Falmouth played well for 90 minutes and had chances to have a couple of goals. Gilo awesome in Falmouth Goal and Well ref'd by MR KNOWLES!!! Hopefully it was a good game for the crowd. Best of Luck Falmouth for the rest of the season
St Darren Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 at St Agnes, probably about 40, Mandy will confirm no doubt
cornishteddyboy Posted September 7, 2010 Author Report Posted September 7, 2010 Thanks. no she'll say 70!
rosskaduncan Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 St.ives scorers were Ross Duncan, Chris lock and Matt MCcilroy. not sure who scored for newquay. great performance from brooksie in goal.
chippy10 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Rovers 3 - 0 St Just Deserved win, in first senior derby in years ... Scorers Ricky Smith, Luke May & Tom Ramsey Att Loads i agree with u rovers 08 pendeen where fired up for this one.if they keep this up for the rest of the season they will surprise a lot of people

bluestorm Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Been told Penzance 1 Perranwell 0 perranwell twins are very quiet to night was past their bed times pal!!!! Perranwell blame the home linesman when they draw, who are they going to blame when they lose?
Ping! Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 In my own opinion we played against the best team in the league tonight, great movement and work rate, although I think 2-6 is not a fair reflection on the game. Penryn were the better side on the night and fully deserved the win, they took their chances and we didn't...simples!! We gave away sloppy goals and 2 pens, which were definately both the right decisions, and to be honest we wasn't much better up the other end, great finsh by Johnsy though for the first goal. Bad night for St Day but we will move and hopefully get things back on track with a win on sat.
gillo10 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Much better performance from Town last night, at least we lost having given our best compared to Saturday at Aggie. A much depleted squad with only one natural defender and no natural keeper. We will hopefully take the positives and start getting the results from now. Good game from both sides with no worries about handbags, must have been a breeze for Knowlsey to ref. Cheers for the compliment Mr Breasbats!
Perranwell Twins Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Been told Penzance 1 Perranwell 0 perranwell twins are very quiet to night was past their bed times pal!!!! lol, stayed in the bar till about 10:30 , didnt get back till 11 and have no internet at home well played to penzance, took there chance and defended very well all game. Neither of us are blaming the linesman. Thought the ref had a good game also.
Macca 20 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 I thought it was a brilliant performance from st ives considering newquay had 4 or 5 first team players in.....Brooksie was outstanding in goal but it was an all round brilliant performance from st ives which was finished with a very good goal from Matt mcilroy
cornishteddyboy Posted September 8, 2010 Author Report Posted September 8, 2010 Anyone know the Penryn or Hayle goal scorers from last night? Thanks
THE WELL 66 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Been told Penzance 1 Perranwell 0 perranwell twins are very quiet to night was past their bed times pal!!!! Perranwell blame the home linesman when they draw, who are they going to blame when they lose? If every thing is fair you can,t blame anyone,as for last night Penzance were up for the game, and was the better team over 90 min,as you will see when ctb write,s his match report.Didn,t understand the moaning by penzance managers,Charlie Philpott the ref had a very good game.Good luck to penz for the rest of the season.
Toothsmith Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Hayle goalscorers were Sam Charlton 3, Elliott Harris 2, Graham Stirr and Nick Barber.
crystal hood Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 CTB about 220 is probably a good estimation, there was so many it was impossible to get a accurate number, hope this helps!!!!
Guest Skinner1 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 penryn, goalscorers kirk davis 2 penaltys thomas 2, young boglino 2
rose like a salmon Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 watched the st day v penryn game last night was one of the best games i seen so far this year penryn took there chances very well .saying that st day had a few good chances which they missed. think 6-2 was a little flatter for penryn though.both penryn and st day are 2 very good combo teams. over all penryn deserved the win well done to both team for a enjoyabe game ps must say kirk was man of the match for me last night closely followed by the lad street in midfield for st day
rose like a salmon Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 must had the only thing to spoil this game was the st day manager refusing to shake hands with penryn manager at the end of the game
Nemesis Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 I thought it was a brilliant performance from st ives considering newquay had 4 or 5 first team players in.....Brooksie was outstanding in goal but it was an all round brilliant performance from st ives which was finished with a very good goal from Matt mcilroy Newquay 1st team players, more like youth team, average age was 18.5. No experienced player such as Weller, Lawrence, Rabone, Morris or Harris to keep the kids in check. Luke Payne in goal has played a couple of games in the SWPL this season but Ryan Barnes is back from Holidays now. Sam Hunter is not first team yet and may struggle to get in again with all the table topping talent we have. Azzer came on as a sub late on, can't think of anyone else who has made more than 2 first team apperances in 2010. St Ives were worthy winners but Brooks saved the Blues from a hammering. St Ives played some really good football in patches and the 2nd and 3rd goals were very well taken, Newquays younstars time will come. Good luck to both teams for the rest of the season.
BAGMAN Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 must had the only thing to spoil this game was the st day manager refusing to shake hands with penryn manager at the end of the game "Manners maketh the Man" - very disappointing if the above is true, play hard on the pitch but always be magnanimous in victory and humble in defeat.
FIFI Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Very good team preformance from Penryn last night. We were under the cosh for a period of the second half, but we all stood firm and punished St Day with some clinical finishing. Sadly it is true that St Days manager didnt shake our managers hand. Out of order in my opinion. Win lose or draw you should always shake hands with the oppsite team. VERY BAD SPORTSMAN. Setting a great example to his players. And its DAVIES for future reference FIFI D :c:

Jasa Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Mr. T, that's fair enough what you've heard. Just wanted to know what Peg Leg thought. Ash played well when he came on last night by the way. 4th goal was a very good finish.
Cornish Chough Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 jasa £20 a game £10 for a sub paid monthly would that be right???????

St Ives played some really good football in patches and the 2nd and 3rd goals were very well taken, Newquays younstars time will come. Let's be honest, St Ives were never going to get a "Hammering". Newquay were beaten to most balls and didn't like being under pressure. St Ives played much better, looking more composed with the ball and relaxed off it.
Cornish Chough Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 newquay never had 4 or 5 first team players at all most of the team were 16 17 and 18 year olds the oldest being 26, the average age was 18.5, the difference betwwen the 2 young sides was the goalkeeper who made 6 out standing saves, as for what u wrote was u at the game???????
St Darren Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 jasa £20 a game £10 for a sub paid monthly would that be right??????? with a few players on a bit more than that! best of luck to the players I say!!
mercury Posted September 9, 2010 Report Posted September 9, 2010 I was stood by the dug outs on Tueday night and was horrified at the abuse and string of obscenities coming from the Penryn Bench. Totally uncalled for and out of order! I am all for a competative game and we are all in it to win but the losers last night where the spectators having to listen to such profanities from Penryn. If you are reading this and intent on watching Penryn think twice before taking any youngsters !!!! On the positive side the St Day pitch looked awsome and credit to the grounds man in getting it into such great shape.
