razor61 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 St Dennis v Sticker - OFF :-( I thought as much Lee, if it had been at Sticker it would probably be on as the pitch drains so well, mind you our groundsman wouldn't have been too happy!!

MattP Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Edgecombe 2 Polperro 2 I'm amazed this survived the weather today but full credit to Millbrook, the pitch was superb and didn't cut up at all. Very close first half between 2 sides missing a number of players saw Edgecombe lead at the break from a back post header, but Polperro equalised early in the 2nd half through Will Glassup. Edgecombe dominated the majority of the second period until Graham O'Neil was forced off through injury, and took a deserved lead from a quality move, until Polperro sub Luke Cloke won a penalty after a moment of madness from the home keeper. Chris Goldthorpe's powerful penalty gave the visitors a welcome, if slightly fortunate point against a strong Edgecombe outfit who will undoubtedly challenge.
Guest alex_a Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 bodmin 0 - 3 torpoint. Says nothing about the game. first goal from a corner, second a penalty? and 3rd break away when they could get out of their half second half. would love to see anyone say torpoint weren't out played and a 3-0 scoreline didn't flatter them. altough it was 3-0 think they will need to improve alot to regain the title again this year!
johnnie bates Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 still 3 - 0 impressive, for a team outplayed.
Guest alex_a Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 still 3 - 0 impressive, for a team outplayed. different day it would of been 6-3. good goal keeping and poor final 3rd. still all the best to torpoint.

Dwayne pipe Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 haha sounds like alex_a is slightly bitter in defeat! Bodmin included sam matthews from the 1st team and still couldnt score. Torpoint got 2 ahead before the break and were happy to see Bodmin control possesion passing side to side with no end product. As fr 6-3, dont flatter yourself..
