leds
Locallad,I hope that the team do a better job on the pitch than you do with your spelling and grammer. Its no wonder Bodmin Town F.C.take some much stick from their rivals with postings like yours, surely its best to keep quiet and do the talking on the pitch?I wish Bodmin Town(1st&2nds) all the best for the coming season and hope the results speak for themselves at the end of the season. leds
Locallad,I apologise,I did make an error with my post, but at least you are now answering in lower case so thats a start! It is good to see members of a club having so much confidence in their team, but the last thing you want to do is come on here telling us all how good the team are going to be when you have played one game. You have certainly made things easy for your opponents team talk,as stated by telithowitis in a previous reply to you.It is easy to come on here and tell the World how good you are going to be,but if you dont do so well it makes you look really stupid.Better to say nowt and let your results do the talking surely?Nothing better than putting pressure on a young lad in his first season by telling us how good he is going to be,it is a big step from Youth football and he will need time to get used to the stronger side of Senior football.I have in the past seen good young players being pushed too much, early in their career and it doesn't do them any favours having extra pressure put on them.If he is that good, get Bodmin to put him forward for County Youth trials, they are building a new side this year. Have a good season.
true_blue_browner
this post should be saved and re-posted at the end of the season and see how true it is! good to see that teams can still win the league after the first game! good luck

Mongoose
Locally, seriously man, had you been drinking? Way to shoot one in your foot, tad naive. It's good 2have confidence in yourself/team but tell them that in private. Your diplomacy skills need polishing somewhat if you thought a positive reply would come of your 'be afraid' war cry. Bad form. Have a good season tho' and try understatement in victory.
Guest alex_a
Actually playing for bodmin, i can say locallad doesn't know nothing about our side as he lives in birmingham now. We aren't giving it the big 1 just playing every week and hope to build on what we did last year.

leds
Locallad,After coming on here last year and run Bodmin down, you decide to come back again this year and tell us all how good they are.Your first two posts regarding Bodmin's chances this year, put them under no pressure at all!!!!!It appears that you know very little according to one of their players who has probably come on here in disbelief of your comments. You then come back and confirm that you actually live in Birmingham although you "is good friends with most of the Bodmin squad" and then inform us that you "here Bodmin have a very good young side."With a mate like you, they certainly dont need any enemies!Think you should go and watch a local team in your own area,at least that way you wont be able to cause Bodmin or yourself anymore embarrassment!!!! Pablo
Methinks they did open up the funny farm again and local lad legged it! On a serious note: why would someone living in Birmingham come here and call himself 'local lad'? If Bodmin win the 'Tittle; will they be the 'Tittle-Holders'? CoachKT
I heard that Bodmin had four 1st teamers in against Wadebridge and for the record Torpoint lost 2 games last season and only 1 the year before so on that basis Bodmin would have to go unbeaten now till the end of the season.....and that ain't gonna happen.
