Guest
Woah! Were Ambrose that bad or were St Day just very good?
stevethedoor
Bit of both to be honest! St Day played very well and we were a bit off the pace, cant quite explain why as on paper we had a good team out but maybe 3 games in a week affected us but, nothing we tried worked and everything they did seemed to result in a goal.5-1 down at half time and effectively game over they took there chances well and we missed a few. St Day were by far the better team for long periods and deserved the win, they have a bloody good side there with a few ex four lanes players (and 2 ex mount ambrose players with a point to prove)and if they can keep them all together and stop them being nicked by the first team they will be strong contenders this season. We have a game at Frogpool on Tues and hopefully can end our pre-season on a more positive note And many thanks to Troon for the use of the pitch
