Top 4 - in Prem, West, East

Recommended Posts

Div 1 West. Perm any one of the following - Foxhole, Godolphin, Newquay, Perranporth.

Things in the West have been balanced out somewhat in pre-season, Foxhole have brought in some names that folk will be familiar with, Perranporth have lost some leadership, althouth any side with Kevin Lawrence and Mikey Davies will always posed a threat. Godolphin seem to relish their role as underdogs and have gelled well in the last year or so and Newquay despite the slashing of the budget from next to nothing to feck all, have retained all but one player and have brought through some top youngsters to liven the 'older' guys up.

On paper, no one should be able to touch Newquay this season, but I'm sure that on paper, England should have smashed Algeria, Slovenia and the Yanks off the park. There are a small number of supporters who love the quantness of former Combo and ECPL clubs, others prefer the 'bigger' grounds of the old SWL. I have a feeling, that this is the make or break season for the Mount Wise club, failure to go up this time may well result in them becoming just another club who had a history once. Lets hope the young 'uns running about making some noise, wake the sleeping giant.

west divisons wide open with no stand out team this year,in past port, wadebridge,pz and last years perranporth,st austell were all way out on there own.but with 3 of those now in premier and reported cuts at others, this season it could be anyone from 10 but would expect newquay and penryn to be close.
